Memphis hoped to get her fairytale ending after she flew down to Tunisia to meet the "love of her life" Hamza. But once she set foot in Tunisia, Memphis was far from impressed with Hamza. The '90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days' star was shocked on discovering that Hamza not only lied about his age but also came across as "irresponsible" to her when he failed to make proper arrangements for getting the necessary permits for their wedding.

Despite the many setbacks, Memphis still decided to go ahead with her initial plan of marrying Hamza and the couple made their way to the embassy. On their way, Memphis began asking some very important questions about their future and Hamza's finances. Since she has two children back home in America, Memphis felt that it was very important to protect herself and her children in case things don't work out with Hamza after their wedding. So she demanded that he sign a pre-nuptial agreement. Hamza was taken aback on hearing her explain that she didn't want him to take away her money if their wedding ended in divorce.

Even though he wasn't happy with Memphis' demands, he quietly agreed to it as he didn't want to lose her and wanted to prove his love to her. Before Hamza had any time to process what had just transpired, Memphis then dropped another bomb by openly questioning his finances. She made it clear that once he arrived in America, their marriage would be a 50/50 partnership, so he would have to pitch in financially. She then asked him if he had any savings or was broke. Needless to say, Hamza felt humiliated and sad on hearing Memphis continuously talking down to him.

After watching the way Memphis was treating Hamza and asking him these important questions at the last minute, fans began wondering why she didn't ask him these questions earlier. A fan tweeted, "Memphis, the conversation about finance and a pre nup should have been had much earlier. She and Hamza need to wrap this up with a bow and keep it moving #90DayFiance." Another fan wrote, "Memphis and Hamza...I love that she's asking all of this in the taxi on the way to get documents to get married. Not before getting to Tunis, not before leaving the room, but right in the taxi #90DayFiance." "Shouldn’t Memphis have questioned his finances before deciding to make this stranger a stepdad to her children? #90dayfiancebeforethe90days #90DayFiance Why is she there? What is she doing?" added a fan.

Many fans also pointed out the loopholes in Memphis's demands. A fan shared, "Memphis is crazy if she doesn't already know that the government will make her sign a "prenuptial" agreement to be responsible for him for the next ten years. Plus, she going to put out upfront money as his sponsor. #90dayfiancebefore90days." "Someone needs to explain to Memphis that she is responsible for Hamsa regardless of a prenup. #90dayfiancebefore90days," commented a fan. "Memphis wants a prenup but if she sponsors Hamza in the US she's financially responsible for him for a term of years whether they are married or not. NO ONE TELL HER! #90DayFiance #90dayfiancebefore90days," expressed a fan.
