5 real-life couples who dated their on-screen siblings
With the list of celebrity divorces growing all the time, dating in Hollywood can be challenging.
It is naturally difficult to imagine siblings getting passionately steamy once the cameras stop rolling. Viewers frequently feel a connection with the characters and their families over time. When this happens, it can be especially shocking to find out that the brother and sister you adore watching on television every week are actually dating.

Here are just a few examples of celebrities who dated their on-screen siblings.
Katherine Heigl and Jason Behr
In the late '90s, Jason Behr and Katherine Heigl played orphaned extraterrestrial siblings Max and Isabel Evans in 'Roswell', who pretended to be typical high school classmates. Katherine and Jason dated briefly during filming, however, they broke up in 2002.
Maggie Grace and Ian Somerhalder
On 'Lost', Maggie Grace and Ian Somerhalder's characters, Boone and Shannon, have a tangled connection as stepsiblings who end up in bed with each other. After Shannon and Boone were fired from the program in 2006, they dated for approximately a year and are still good friends.
Emily VanCamp and Chris Pratt
The 'Guardians of the Galaxy' star met and dated 'Everwood' co-star Emily VanCamp, who played his sister in the family drama, for two years until splitting up in 2007.
David Henrie and Selena Gomez
On-screen siblings, the 'Wizards of Waverly Place' co-stars fanned relationship rumors by walking out together during one of Selena Gomez's "off" periods with then-boyfriend Justin Bieber.
Gomez and Henrie's relationship was never formally verified, but there was much speculation about the two on-screen Russo siblings, who apparently went on a few dates in 2010, and were spotted together in 2014.
Dave Annable and Emily VanCamp
Emily went on to play Rebecca in 'Brothers & Sisters' in 2007, following the cancelation of 'Everwood' and the termination of her romance with Chris Pratt. Rebecca was the purported sister of Justin, played by Dave Annable, if the title of the show is any indicator. Emily and Dave allegedly had so much connection off-screen as IRL boyfriend and girlfriend that the program's writers concocted a paternity scandal that made Rebecca and Justin unrelated, so they could have started dating and eventually marry on the show. However, like their characters' failed romance, Dave and Emily eventually split up, and he married actress Odette Annable in 2010.
