5 most shocking moments captured during livestream on Twitch
Twitch is an interactive space where gamers and fans can enjoy what they love most: video games. However, there are occasions when things don't go as expected, leading to some startling surprises.
There have been occasions where Twitch streamers have gotten themselves embroiled in some of the most outrageous, and sometimes dangerous, situations during livestreams. Here are five such incidents.

1. The fire extinguisher incident
Ice Poseidon's live feeds are well-known for bizarre occurrences. In light of these incidents, he has been expelled from a number of video streaming services, including Twitch. During one such livestream, Ice Poseidon saw a child enter a restaurant with a fire extinguisher as he was dining there with his friends. As police arrived to arrest the child, the boy continued to spray the fire extinguisher around the whole restaurant, prompting Ice to flee outdoors.
2. Allergic reaction
Allergies are no laughing matter. A Korean streamer named Kooncoon used to play a lot of 'Archeage'. He had just finished a meal during a livestream when he began to get rashes and his arms started itching. He tried to get out of his chair but turned very red and was seen grimacing in agony. He then fell to the floor. Fortunately, he received help in the end and has since stopped livestreaming, but it was a very frightening experience for both him and viewers.
3. Earthquake
In a livestream, Kirmizikep was playing 'The Long Dark' when a 7.4 magnitude earthquake suddenly struck the area near the streamer's home. He jumped out of his chair and began to describe what was occurring to his audience. Prior to the broadcast abruptly ending, viewers could observe his camera and chair trembling. Later on, reports said he and his family were safe.
4. House burns down
One of the Japanese streamer Daasuke's livestreams from 2015 became very famous for an unfortunate incident. The streamer was taking a break from playing 'Minecraft' to show his new lighter to viewers and light some matches. However, soon objects on his desk started to burn right in front of him and things got worse when he tried to put out the fire. The fire spread across the whole second storey of the apartment building. No one was reportedly harmed in the incident.
5. Seizure
In January 2016, Twitch broadcaster LotharRS had a seizure while participating in a game of 'Hearthstone'. Lothar appeared to be staring at something in a certain direction. He seemed to be seeing strobes of light in his head. Soon his body stiffened and he fell off his chair, to the horror of viewers. Fortunately, his wife entered the room and called an ambulance. He hasn't had any seizures since.
