Jake's departure from Season 2 of 'Perfect Match' is now a mystery. His exit goes unnoticed by the rest of the participants, allowing viewers to speculate on the cause of his abrupt departure.
Now, given Jake's lack of social media engagement, it's unlikely he'll explain his disappearance anytime soon. Unless Netflix decides to address the problem and provide an explanation, which appears doubtful, the mystery of Jake's disappearance will remain unsolved.
If we had to speculate, we'd say that Jake left the TV show for private reasons. It may have been that he wasn't quite ready to get involved in the whole "finding his perfect match" thing.
So, he probably made the decision to press pause, relax, and concentrate on being single for a little while longer.
Perhaps the former Army soldier simply didn't see a spark with any of the women in Season 2. Therefore, Jake did everyone a favor by acting on his instincts and leaving before things became too difficult.
Should this turn out to be true, Jake saved himself and the ladies from embarrassing dates and possible heartbreak.
What happened between Tolu Ekundare and Jake Cunningham in 'Perfect Match' Season 2?
Tolu Ekundare, who had been close to Dom Gabriel in the 'Perfect Match' villa, is taken aback when the Season 1 winner suggests she consider other possibilities and goes on a date with a new person. She reluctantly consents, and as a result, she and Jake from Season 1 of 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On' go to the gym date.
After their initial chemistry, Tolu and Jake return to the villa to find it waning. It doesn't go well when Jake's focus strays to the other women, since he doesn't find a match and departs the villa earlier than planned.
Do we see him again, though? Nope.
Jake is noticeably missing from the villa, despite the fact that many of this season's former cast members have returned for another shot at finding love.

In the first season of Netflix's reality dating series 'The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On', Jake broke up with his girlfriend April Marie in order to be with Rae Williams. That was the last time we saw Jake on television.
On their first date, the two hit it off right away, and at the show's conclusion, Jake gives Rae two airline tickets to a place of her choice. But after the show, Jake and Rae split up, so their planned vacation never happened.
In an interview with E! News in April 2022, Rae disclosed their breakup.
Jake, meanwhile, revealed, "Me and my ex went our separate ways, but trust me, my DMs are full," in reference to his separation with Rae on 'Perfect Match'.

Jake has stopped using social media and reality TV since the show concluded.
Although his most recent Instagram post was made in December 2023, there's a chance he will revisit the social media site to express his thoughts on Season 2 of 'Perfect Match'. Although it's obvious he's been having fun, it seems the Texas native is now prepared to explore a more committed relationship and maybe even find a bride!
