SANTA MONICA, CALIFORNIA: Canadian-American actor Michael J Fox cut looked elegant as he went to the Giorgio Baldi restaurant for dinner in Santa Monica. The 61-year-old 'Back to the Future' actor, who reportedly revealed he had Parkinson's disease in 1998, seven years after his diagnosis at the age of 29, was dressed in an impressive electric blue blazer with a smart blue patterned shirt. Fox's friend was also present there beside him, providing support.

Fox shared how his disease has taken a mental toll on him that affected his acting career and the type of projects he’s now taking on. He admitted that memorizing lines has become more difficult since he was first diagnosed while appearing on Mike Birbiglias' 'Elaboration of it' podcast. "When I did the spinoff from The Good Wife, which is The Good Fight, I couldn’t remember the lines. I just had this blank, I couldn’t remember the lines,” Fox said.

Fox reportedly said that it was not difficult for him to memorize the lines during his younger days, as he recalled his role on 'Family Ties', an NBC sitcom he starred in from 1982 to 1989. “I wanted to say, 'I’m in. Mallory, get off the phone.' And I knew it, like in an instant, and it stayed like that for me," the actor said. "I have 70 pages of dialogue about one [Brian] De Palma film, and knowing that a hugely expensive Steadicam shoot depends on me knowing the lines – not a drop of sweat on my forehead,” he added, referring to the 1989 film 'Casualties of War', in which he starred alongside Sean Penn.

Fox acknowledged that he no longer took on projects with many lines, "I can’t remember five pages of dialogue. I can’t do it. So I’m going to the beach,” he said.
