MANHATTAN, NEW YORK: Jennifer Aniston had an unexpected emotional reunion with a former 'Friend's guest star. The 54-year-old actress, who appeared on 'Kelly and Ryan' to promote her new film, 'Murder Mystery 2', ran into Mea Whitman, a former co-star on the iconic sitcom, after 27 years.

Whitman, 34, was beaming while donning a mini-dress with an orange and red floral design and leaving her highlighted hair down- when she spotted Aniston and went over to her to tell how much of an impact her role as a guest star had on her. Aniston looked stylish in a purple floral halter dress and matching shoes as she came face-to-face with the young lady. In a sweet Instagram video of their conversation, Mae said, "You were so kind to me". In response, Aniston instantly gave the 'Up Here' actress a hug.

'I was on Friends'

Whitman made an appearance as a little child named Sarah in season three, episode 10, 'The One When Rachel Quits', when she was just eight years old. David Schwimmer, who co-starred with Aniston in the sitcom, as Ross Geller, accidentally pushed a little child down a flight of stairs before helping her sell all of her Girl Scout cookies so she may go to space camp. “I was on Friends. I played the girl that gets knocked down the stairs with the girl scout cookies,” she told Aniston, in a video shared on her Instagram page after their ‘reunion’. Aniston who played Rachel Green was stunned and grabbed her arms and replied, "Oh my god!" “I just wanted to say hi because you were so kind to me,” Whitman said. “It was my favorite show and you really made me feel like I was a part of the cast. “And you were so kind and you hugged me. Thank you. It’s always stayed with me.” “I’m so glad you’re good,” Aniston replied. “It’s so nice to see you. You’re amazing,” Whitman says before the two actresses hug goodbye.

'Felt amazing to see her'

Whitman then shared her experience on 'Friends' with Kelly Ripa and Ryan Seacrest, "I'm 8 years old, I think. And I got a call that I was cast on Friends, and it was my favorite show at the time. Why an eight-year-old loved Friends, I can't tell you, but I found something relatable in there. I remember Jen was so kind to me, she made me feel like I was part of the cast and she took such good care of me, and I wept hysterically when I wrapped."  "And I made her a Christmas ornament with her name on it. That was the first time I've seen her. That was a big reunion. That felt amazing to see her. She's so cool. Such a cool person. The universe has its ways," she further added.
