Jake Paul's girlfriend Julia Rose blasts two-week sex ban in naughty TikTok video
Jake Paul is currently in the ring fighting his opponent Tyron Woodley. Whatever the result might be, it appears like it would be a win for Paul's girlfriend Julia Rose who took to TikTok to blast the two-week sex ban imposed by her boyfriend ahead of the match. The 27-year-old took to the video-sharing platform to vent out her sexual frustration. In a naughty mirror selfie video, Rose sang along to SZA's 'I Hate U' with a text overlay that made it clear who she was taking a shot at, "dear whoever told boxers they shouldn't have sex two weeks before the fight."
This isn't the first time that entertainment and sporting industry bigwigs are resorting to practicing temporary chastity. Sports medicine specialist Dr Ian Schrier in an article for National Geographic news weighed in on the topic of sex affecting athletes wherein he agreed there is no actual proof that sex diminishes an athlete physically. "There are two possible ways sex before competition could affect performance," said Shrier. "First, it could make you tired and weak the next day. This has been disproven. The second was is that it could affect your psychological state of mind. This has not been tested," he added.
Ahead of his second clash with Woodley, Paul had announced he was abstaining from sex with his girlfriend to ensure he stays undefeated. Speaking to Graham Bensinger, he said, "[Abstaining from sex] is different for each fighter. A lot of fighters are affected by it, including myself and I’m 100 percent sure [it’s not all mental], I don’t believe in placebo, I have to experience things for myself." Paul continued, "I’ve only messed up on occasion once or twice because it’s noticeably different, and I take more punishment in sparring if I do that. My coach BJ [Flores] will be like ‘did you have sex last night?’ And you can just tell without me saying anything." Coach Flores seconded his claims saying, “He’s not as good, he’s not as quick or as fierce or aggressive."
