The protagonists of the story are Maggie (Nicola Coughlan) and Eddie (Lydia West), two best friends who have been through thick and thin together for more than ten years.

Maggie faces mental health challenges as she battles bipolar disease, while Eddie balances her bar business and helps her buddy during her illness.

As the narrative goes on, the two encounter obstacles that can put an end to their lengthy friendship; however, they try to stick together in the face of adversity.

Nicola Coughlan, best known for her parts in 'Derry Girls' and 'Bridgerton,' plays Maggie in the series.

The actress, who was born in Ireland, debuted in 1997's 'My Brother's War' in an uncredited role.

Her professional acting career officially began in 2004 when she starred in the revenge comedy 'The Phantom Cnut.'

In addition, Coughlan actively supports social causes; she signed a petition in favor of an Israel-Hamas truce in 2023.

Her other notable job credits include, 'Dodger,' 'Doctors,' and 'Harlots,' among others.

Lydia West, an actress from Britain, will portray Eddie in the dark comedy series.
