Who is the founder of Arber?

Vanessa Dawson, a distinguished Harvard Business graduate with a background in investing and advising, serves as the visionary founder of Arber.

Currently, Vanessa holds a pivotal role on the National Women's Business Council, offering strategic guidance to Congress and the President on crucial women's business matters. Her extensive expertise and leadership have solidified her reputation as a trailblazer in the world of business and entrepreneurship.

Vanessa's passion for gardening aligned with the stage of life she was in. When she relocated from New York City to Los Angeles four or five years ago, purchasing a house and becoming a mother, she became increasingly conscious of using eco-friendly and organic products for skin care, baby care, and household cleaning. However, she struggled to find similar products for her gardening needs, noticing a gap in the market for environmentally safe gardening products.

"It was shocking to see that I could transform my skincare, baby care, and even clothes washing [using environmentally safe products], but not garden care. Garden and [plant] care products were about quick growth regardless of whether it degraded the soil and killed beneficial insects," she told Forbes. Vanessa added, "There is a lot of 'green washing' in the industry."

After devoting two years to the development of her idea, Vanessa finally brought it to fruition in 2021. During her research, she found a gap in the market for products utilizing cutting-edge agricultural innovations.

To ensure the success of her venture, she enlisted the expertise of Pam Marrone as the chief scientific advisor. Marrone, boasting a Ph.D. in entomology and three decades of experience as a biological scientist, has spearheaded the creation of natural products aimed at enhancing plant growth and controlling pests for three thriving companies.

Vanessa added, "It was tricky building our supply chain during the pandemic. Prices increased for ingredients, packaging, freight, and labor, which could have had a major impact on Arber's gross margins." However, she managed to overcome all the obstacles and launched her plant care product line, Arber, in the market,

What is the cost and how to buy Arber?

Arber offers a variety of plant care kits at prices ranging from $30 to $99. Their pest and insect control products are priced between $25 and $30, while their plant disease control products range from $25 to $30. Additionally, Arber also provides plant food and nutrition products priced from $13 to $30, as well as plant care accessories ranging from $8 to $40.

You have the option to easily buy all of the Arber products directly from the official website of the brand. Furthermore, you also have the opportunity to purchase their products from Amazon and Walmart as well.

The products from Arber have received positive feedback and high ratings on their website. A customer named Stepanie commented, “I can’t tell you how amazed I was on how much better this worked than my usual brand of neem oil and insecticidal soap."  Another customer Angie wrote, “Cleared up a variety of issues from mildew growing on branches, black spots on leaves and mildew. Very impressive."

A user went on to say, "I’m trying to organic-ify my back yard and simultaneously reduce a fungus issue in my back yard after years of neglect from the previous owner. I wanted something a little more scientific than bug juice and vinegar extract. Arbor should be just the thing for me. So far, so good. I’m only on two treatments, but things are looking good. Measuring and application were simple and I covered the entire property. I’m a fan and I’ll be ordering more in the future."

Another customer named Brenda said, “I loved the ingredients, AND it’s safe to use. I’ve used it now for over a year, and it’s made a huge difference in all my plants!”

Currently boasting a follower count of over 40,000 on Instagram, these numbers are projected to skyrocket following Vanessa's upcoming appearance on Season 15 of 'Shark Tank'.
