On Thursday, January 21, 2021, Season 4 Episode 6 titled 'Freshman Orientation and the Inventor of the Zipper' aired, and since then we've been on a hiatus when it comes to this CBS comedy. But we have good news! Not only is there a new 'Young Sheldon' episode this week, but there's also one next week! Season 4 Episode 7 'A Philosophy Class and Worms That Can Chase You' will air on Thursday, February 11, 2021, at 8 pm EST on CBS.
The episode is set to see new character Professor Ericson played by Melanie Lynskey, and while Sheldon is usually happy about school, he may not have a fun time in the new episode and may even "butt heads" with his new philosophy professor. Even better, it seems like the Professor Ericson storyline is set to continue into next week with Season 4 Episode 8 as well, but this time Meemaw "takes matters into her own hands." Yes! Episode 8, titled 'An Existential Crisis and a Bear That Makes Bubbles' is set to air on Thursday, February 18, 2021, at 8 pm EST on CBS. You can catch up on Season 4 or all the previous seasons of the CBS comedy, on Amazon Prime and CBS All Access.
What to expect from 'An Existential Crisis and a Bear That Makes Bubbles'?
The synopsis for Season 4 Episode 8 reads, "Meemaw takes matters into her own hands when Sheldon's philosophy teacher, Professor Ericson, sends him into a tailspin. Also, George Sr. learns Georgie has been cutting class."
