LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Well, we certainly are speechless with what Joe has really done and how he was able to overshadow everything with a personality that he successfully created by moving to London. He forgot everything that he was doing as Joe because he managed to create an alternate personality that was similar to Rhys Montrose (Ed Speleers). The concluding moments of the previous episode saw Joe finding the place where he was keeping Marienne (Tati Gabrielle) hostage, but Nadia is also there and she needs to run before she gets caught by Joe.

In the penultimate episode of ‘You’ Season 4, Joe walks into the basement and talks to Marienne. Nadia was able to hide in the basement and heard them talking. Joe was horrified after seeing how Marienne was living and promised her that he will take her out of here and she will be able to see her daughter again. But it seems he needs to take care of a few things before because he has just killed Rhys Montrose. As soon as Joe leaves, Nadia comes back and talks to Marienne about hatching a plan to outclass Joe Goldberg. Marienne tells Nadia that as long as Joe is alive, he will come after her. So, Nadia tells her that the only way to get out of this situation is to kill Joe. However, Nadia can’t kill her because she doesn’t have any experience. But Marienne steps up and says she’ll kill him because she has a daughter outside and wouldn’t even think twice before stabbing him.

Well, as far as Joe is concerned, he is getting ready to attend a party that is being organized by Lady Phoebe. Kate meets Phoebe at the party and tries to make her understand that her marriage with Adam won’t work because Adam is just using her for her wealth. Phoebe gets irritated and tells Kate to leave. It seems Phoebe is close to having a panic attack. Meanwhile, Joe is trying to find some fake IDs so that he can have a fake passport to get out of the country once he has dealt with the Marienne situation. Rhys tells him to check his freezer and as soon as Joe does that, he finds a gun wrapped inside a plastic bag. Joe asks Rhys what should he do with this, to which, Rhys replies, “Kill Marienne because she doesn’t deserve to suffer.” Joe says that he is not doing that and starts getting ready for the party. He meets Kate and she tells him everything she did to save her friend from this marriage. They try to work as a team and get Phoebe out of this situation. Joe tells Kate that he’ll talk to her and she just needs to keep Adam busy so that he could tell the truth to Phoebe. Well, their plan failed because Adam comes to the room where Phoebe and Joe were talking and tells them to get out when he sees that Phoebe has tears in his eyes.

But everything they said turned out to be true and Phoebe left the place after having a panic attack, ending up in the hospital.

The next day, Joe brings food for Marienne and talks to her. Marienne asks if he knows anything about her daughter. He checks her phone and it turns out that she is about to lose her daughter’s custody because she never really showed up after her trip to London. Marienne is shattered after hearing that and wants to die because her daughter meant everything to her. Meanwhile, Nadia finds herself in trouble because she gets caught by the police for having a knife in her bag.

Joe finds a bottle of medicines that Kate gave him at the party. It belonged to Phoebe. He meets Marienne and gives her a coffee, telling her that she is free to go. But it seems there’s something in coffee that makes her unconscious. He tries opening the door but is unable to. That’s when he tends to see the people that he murdered. First, it was Gemma and then it was Beth. Yes, Beth returned and made Joe’s life worse even if it was in a dream. But then, he sees LOVE QUINN. They talk to each about what happened between them and Joe reveals that he had to kill her because she left him no other way. Their conversation ends with Love handing Joe a gun to kill Marienne and end her suffering. Well, it turns out, he was dreaming all of this and nothing has happened to Marienne.

When he gets up, he realizes that he definitely needs to end Marienne’s suffering and after he has done that, he will end his life as well. However, as soon as he reaches there, he sees Marienne is lying down unconscious after drinking something out of a bottle and Joe tries to revive her.

It seems Nadia reached there on time and did what she intended to. What will Joe do now?
