Spoilers for 'You' Season 4 Episode 4

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Things are getting really intense for Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) in Season four of ‘YOU’ as the stalker keeps on frustrating him by sending messages that make him realize the crimes he has committed in the past. But he doesn’t know that his relationship with Kate (Charlotte Ritchie) and everyone else is going to get more complicated. The third episode ended with Joe arriving at the Sundry house and getting ready to be interrogated by the police.

However, the police were not here to talk to him as a suspect and needed to talk to someone who was not drunk as hell. They just let him know that the girl he told them about corroborated the Simon Soo story and the investigation was ongoing. As soon as the interrogation gets over, Phoebe tells Joe that the entire group is going on a getaway to Hampsy, a country house owned by Phoebe and her family. Phoebe insists that Joe must come there and he didn’t say no to her. Everyone arrives there and they are planning to have a good time. However, Gemma annoys everyone by showing how classless she is and continues to be a pain in the a**.

Why did Joe say 'yes' to the Hampsy getaway?

On the other hand, Joe continues to use his skills to find out more about the killer. But one thing is clear Kate is slowly becoming his new obsession and loves talking to her. Even Kate seems to be feeling the same, but he doesn’t let anything distract him from investigating the killer. He enters Roald’s room and finds his camera in which he sees a lot of pictures of Kate changing clothes among several other photos. He feels that Roald is so obsessed with Kate that he might have killed Malcolm to get her. By seeing Joe and Kate getting closer, Roald asks Joe to go on hunting. It turns out that it was his plan to lure Joe in and was ready to attack Joe with a rifle. Luckily, Kate arrives there at the right time and saves Joe.

At night, everyone is getting ready for dinner when Joe and Kate meet again. They finally give in and have sex with each other. When they arrive at the dinner table, Roald is really annoyed that they are getting too close to each other. That’s why Roald tries to belittle Joe by letting him realize that he is poor and he is in the company of the elite. Well, Joe is happy with his life and it upsets him. So, he tries attacking Kate by talking about a part of her life that she doesn’t want Joe to know about.

'EAT THE RICH' killer strikes again as Kate reveals the truth about her family

When they meet together after dinner, Kate reveals that she is the daughter of the corporate raider Tom Lockwood and has more wealth than all of the people combined in this house. However, her father used to do illegal things and a lot of people have lost their money or died because of him. That’s the reason she is not in contact with her father and has been doing something independently.

After their conversation, Joe enters Roald’s room for searching some more evidence, but Roald catches him and throws him out of the window. Roald was hoping that he would die, but Joe was saved. While limping his way back to the country house, he hears a scream and runs to find out what has happened. As soon as he enters Kate’s room, he sees Gemma’s body on the floor and Kate sitting on the floor with a knife in her hand. Joe is shocked and the episode comes to an end.
