'You' Season 2 sees Joe meet Love Quinn but Candice shows up to create trouble for him

Season 2 will see Joe move to Los Angeles and become a new man -- with a new name -- as he tries his best to steer clear of love. Unfortunately, the city has other plans for him.

Get ready, folks -- Joe is about to hit your screens with a vengeance, or rather, an ex-girlfriend who was lucky enough to escape Joe's clutches. Candice comes back for her vengeance and potentially save whoever is in Joe's sights post-Beck.

When Season 2 starts off, we will see that Joe will be moving to Los Angeles -- presumably to get away from the investigations into the deaths of Beck and Peach. We also saw at the end of Season 1 that Candice -- Joe's ex whom we presumed dead -- shows up at Mooney's bookstore to confront him. Whether Candice is real or a manifestation of Joe's absent and/or messed up consciousness, we do not know yet. But we do see glimpses of Candice creating trouble for Joe who has set his eyes on a new girl, who is actually named Love.

Of course, Joe isn't Joe in Los Angeles, he has changed his name to Will Bettelheim. Joe, or rather, Will has sworn off love with his move to Los Angeles, hopefully, to avoid committing the same mistakes he did as with Beck. But, Will is the same old Joe who finds himself drawn to Love Quinn, a grocery store chain heiress who is also a chef. And so, he is back to his stalker ways, as we see from the trailer. But unlike Beck, it looks like Love and Will get along much better.

We are also given a brief glimpse of Forty, Love's twin brother, who asks Joe what his intentions are with Love. Of course, in the books, Forty is not always present to realize the truth, so as much as he may wish to be his sister's guardian, he might fail. After all, Joe is quite experienced at this.

And hey, if you doubt that Joe is going to be better this time around, we even see a shot of him looking at his blood-covered hands. Did he do it again or are we seeing a Macbeth-esque turn for Joe?

But if you miss Joe in New York, don't worry. It looks like his book dungeon follows him to the west coast. All episodes of 'You' Season 2 will be released on Netflix on December 26th. Watch the trailer for the season below:
