Texas mom is shot dead while visiting son's grave to mark his 'first birthday in heaven'
In a shocking turn of events, a Texas woman was tragically shot dead by unidentified shooters on Tuesday, March 22. Yolanda N'Gaojia, 52, went to visit her son's grave at a Texas cemetery on his 'first birthday in heaven,' when she was shot dead, according to her ex-husband.
According to the Killeen Police Department, she was tragically shot at around 5 pm at the Calvary Baptist Church Garden of Memories Cemetery, and a second victim had non-life-threatening injuries. Yolanda's husband, Kineh N'Gaojia wrote on Facebook, “I have no words because I can’t believe this is real. This is stuff you see in movies but it has become our life. I can’t believe you are gone ... how y’all gonna kill her on her (son’s) birthday at his gravesite??” "My children will never be the same again,” he added.

According to his online obituary, the victim’s son, Amir Tajai-Kineh N'Gaojia was born on March 22, 2000, and died on New Year's Day when he was 21 years old. Yolanda and Kineh have three children together, according to KWTX.
The Killeen Police Department reported in a press release that officers were dispatched to the 13000 block of State Highway 195 following a shooting on March 22 at around 5 pm. According to authorities, responding officers discovered two gunshot victims. One victim was treated and released at the site for 'non-life-threatening injuries,' but the other died of her injuries and was declared dead at 6:56 pm. The woman who was injured has yet to be identified by police.
Kineh said in another social media post, “those bullets took a precious gem from us but gave us an Amazing Angel to guide us so you know we ain’t going nowhere but up cause we know how hard you rode for your family. Thank you for making our life complete we gonna miss you, Soldier. WE LOVE YOU. Kiss Amir for me and tell him how much I/we love and miss him.”
According to a news release, police classified the death as an isolated incident with no ongoing threat to the general public.
