We all knew that the primary focus of ‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 will be on finding the person behind the deadly attack on the Duttons during Season 3. The makers did not waste any time in teasing fans about who might be behind it and introduced a man admitting that he knows who wanted the Duttons dead.

Chief Thomas Rainwater’s (Gil Birmingham) bodyguard Mo (Moses Brings Plenty) takes the man as a hostage and beats him mercilessly. However, the Dutton Family didn’t know about him. During the third episode, we saw the Duttons going on a killing spree and killing everyone who might have been a part of the attack. But still, the main culprit is still unknown to them.

However, it seems the cat’s finally out of the bag now as John Dutton (Kevin Costner) finally knows who ordered the attack on them. Chief Rainwater and Mo meet John Dutton and tell him who carried out the attack. The man in the picture was bald and looked like a hitman. John said that he doesn’t know him and he doesn’t believe that he was the guy who tried assassinating them. Chief Rainwater assured him that he was the one who tried killing him and goes away.

But Mo tells John to stay here and presents him the man he picked up from the casino. The man tells John that he just gets everyone together for the attack whenever the man in the picture tells him to initiate a killing. When John asks him who is behind all of this, he says that he doesn’t know about the main boss.

During the ending moments of the episode, John takes the man somewhere and tells him that he wants to know about the person who was behind the attack. But he still says that he doesn’t know anything about it. So, John gives him a chance to save himself. He unties him and gives him a gun. He moves backward and says that they are going to settle it with a gunfight.

They start shooting and some of the shots were very close to hurting John again. However, he shot the guy with multiple bullets and killed him.

‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 keeps on getting better with each episode and we cannot wait for the upcoming episodes when the real villain is introduced.

‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 returns to Paramount Channel with a new episode every Sunday at 8 pm EST.
