EXCLUSIVE | 'Yellowstone' star Wendy Moniz says Gov Perry won't be married to John but romance is on the cards

Kayce Dutton

Season 3 ending - The season finale saw him inform Monica over the phone of his candidacy for Governor when his office is stormed by hooters. The last thing we saw on the screen is Kayce turning his desk over and hiding behind it as Monica yells into the phone, "Kayce! Kayce!"

Prediction - Kayce will most likely survive as we saw him in his office handling a situation quickly when the shooting started. He had already flipped the desk for cover which shows how quickly he is on his feet in emergencies. A theory points out that during the meeting with the governor, Jamie says that the governor is the one that is making the decision to condemn the land, but the head of the cattleman’s association wants Kayce to run for governor in the future. The Season 4 trailer saw Kayce making a phone call behind the desk which showed he may have held off the attacker and at least feels safe enough to make a call. Kayce may later become governor and declare a large portion of the ranch conservation land with ranching rights into perpetuity for the Dutton family and heirs.

Beth Dutton

Season 3 ending - We see Beth packing up her office when her assistant brings in a box addressed to her. As she goes to stop her assistant from opening it, a bomb inside it explodes and we see that the windows are blown out and cars wrecked outside.

Prediction - We think Beth won't die as it was her assistant that opened the bomb and not her, giving her the chance to survive as the distance may have shielded her from bearing the brunt of it all. An eagle-eyed fan says that the quick shot of a woman slowly walking out of a smoke-filled office, with the word Schwarz on the glass, suggests that it is Beth walking out badly injured but is still alive.

Jamie Dutton

Season 3 ending - In the finale we see Jamie tell Montana’s governor that it’s he and not Beth who has the state-sanctioned power of attorney to approve the sale of Dutton tracts to the hostile interlopers from Market Equities. Jamie’s biological father had also told him to claim his piece of the Dutton ranch because it’s an empire, not a business and that empires must be taken.

Prediction - Fans think that Jamie will learn that his birth mother is really his aunt and will decide that he has more blood ties to the Dutton’s rather than the Randall’s and could show where his loyalties lie in the end. This could potentially come about through a medical event such as John in need of blood with both of them sharing a rare blood type or something along those lines. But this character has many shades to him (mostly grey) and could swing any which he pleases.

John Dutton

Season 3 ending - The season finale saw a mysterious van pull up with a man confirming if he is John Dutton after which he proceeds to shoot him with a rifle.

Prediction - A possibility is that John bled to death from the arm wound after his phone blocked the lethal shot. He could also really die without any major issues as he had basically already retired and had been thinking about the future of the ranch. But more likely than not he will survive as we see help arrive and find him.
