‘Yellowstone’ Season 3 Episode 9 Preview: Will Colby save Teeter and express his love in ‘Meaner Than Evil’?

After Colby and Teeter were attacked by Wade Morrow and Clint, fans are worried for the pair and there seems to be no end to rumors of the characters' death

With just two episodes left in ‘Yellowstone’, the drama seems to be building to another level. Last week's episode ‘I Killed a Man Today’ ended with a major shock as Teeter (Jennifer Landon) and Colby (Denim Richards) were attacked by Wade Morrow (Boots Southerland) and his son, Clint (Brent Walker).

It began when Teeter decided to take a break from repairing the fence and go skinnydipping. She dragged Colby with her and it turned out to be one of the worst nightmares for the pair. Within seconds, they were surrounded by Wade who is all set to exact revenge from John Dutton (Kevin Costner) and went on to whip both of them with a lasso and drown them in the lake.

That sequence left fans worried for the pair and rumors of the characters' death spread like wildfire in no time. "I just need to know if Teeter and Colby are alive?!! #Yellowstone," one wrote after the harrowing scene. Another said, "How did you not show me what happened to Teeter and Colby?! MY HEART CAN’T TAKE THIS!"

Will the two be saved or is it time to bid goodbye to our favorite characters? Well, we can only wait and watch. For now, we can say that there has been no hint from the makers or the actors that there is an impending death in the upcoming episodes. Titled ‘Meaner Than Evil’, the official summary of the episode reads: "Jamie confronts his past; Rip approaches Kayce about an old problem; the bunkhouse crew looks to defend two of its own."

The last line definitely gives us a hint that Teeter and Colby may survive. If that happens, will Colby help Teeter regain her consciousness? Ever since her character was introduced in the show, there have been sparks with Colby. Is this the right time for him to express his real feelings for her? 

Fans think the two are doing okay. "They are ok. I think I seen then both riding at the back of the posse riding through the field," one tweet read. Another said, "I think he'll be hurt badly but alive. The girl will probably not make it. But may God Bless those civilians because here comes RIP and casey."

One fan even went on to say: "If him and Tex die I will cry like it’s real-life people I love passing away. Imma need them to live and then do to Those jerks so really bad BUNKHOUSE things to them."  

Well, we certainly think that Colby and Teeter will be hurt but may survive the attack and take revenge from Wade and Clint. However, only time will tell what really happens. Catch the penultimate episode on Sunday, August 16, 2020, as it airs on Paramount Network.
