‘Yellowstone’ has a mix of both, fire and water, in its female characters. If Beth Dutton (Kelly Reilly) is the badass rebel of the family, Monica Long Dutton (Kelsey Asbille) is the calm, tender-hearted daughter-in-law who doesn't really fit in with the dissident Dutton troupe. The Paramount series still has much less female energy in the Neo-Western world where the male-dominated spirit is profuse, especially in the bunkhouse.

Showrunners Taylor Sheridan and John Linson already seem to have chalked out a plan to bring in more women. In the second episode titled 'Freight Trains and Monsters', there's a spectacular new entry, named Teeter. Played by Jennifer Landon — the daughter of actor Michael Landon who clinched three Emmy Awards for her stint in the CBS soap opera 'As the World Turns' — she is introduced as a female wrangler who gives a major surprise to the men on the bunkhouse with her cowboy skills.

The bunkhouse already has quite a mismatched energy which will make it fun to see how Teeter engages with the men and adjusts in the boisterous environment. Shedding light on her character, Landon said in an interview with Entertainment Tonight, "There was a line that if they were going to get a girl, she had to be ugly or mean, and then they saw me somehow and they said, ‘Perfect.’"

"Teeter is the new addition to the bunkhouse," she says. Interestingly, her Texan accent is quite a shocker and leaves everyone astonished with Lloyd Pierce (Forrie J Smith) calling it "gibberish". Talking about that, Landon said, "It's just phonetically written. She just speaks the way her family speaks." All the other actors on the show are also excited to see her play the role. Jefferson White, who plays ranch hand Jimmy Hurdstrom, says, "The Teeter that she brings to life is so much more incredible." Smith adds, "The first day, man, she knocked it out of the park."

Fans are already excited to see her. "Beth and Rip are always my favorite characters, but after watched the teaser about TEETER, I think she’s gonna be the next my favorite character of this season," one tweet read and another said, "So ready to see @TheJenLandon on my TV again and Teeter looks like such a fun character!"

Kelly Reilly, who plays Beth, describes London's character as "the role of the season." As more episodes roll out, it will be interesting to see the bunkhouse's reaction to her and how she eases into the living situation there.
