'Yellowstone' season 2 finale 'Sins of the Father': Kayce promises vengeance for Tate as Monica makes a surprising demand
Spoilers ahead for 'Yellowstone' season 2 episode 10 'Sins of the Father'
With Tate's (Brecken Merrill) disappearance, the Beck brothers have attacked the Duttons in a way that no one has - even the attack on Beth (Kelly Reilly) was nothing in comparison. They took something the Duttons hold close and dear by force, and the Dutton pack now seeks revenge. In an exclusive clip from the season 2 finale of 'Yellowstone' titled 'Sins of the Father', it appears that Tate's father Kayce (Luke Grimes) is not the only one seeking revenge - Monica (Kelsey Asbille), Tate's mother is seeking the same, in perhaps the same manner. The Duttons now want the blood of the Beck brothers.
At the end of what had seemed like a regular day, the Beck brothers had Tate kidnapped from under the watchful eyes of John Dutton (Kevin Costner), who it looks like let his guard down at the wrong time. While the show hasn't revealed that it is the Becks who are behind the kidnapping, we are certain since there are close to zero other possibilities. In the clip, we can see Kayce promise that he will do anything to get Tate back and not let the Becks rest in peace. After his promise, Monica looks up to him and makes him swear that he will kill the men responsible. We know for a fact that the Duttons have no qualms about killing off their enemies, but now they got Monica on their side as well.
It also appears that when someone comes to the Dutton ranch, their morality is deteriorated - slowly or all at once, that remains debatable, but it is at stake. Take, for instance, Monica. Throughout the run of 'Yellowstone', and for as long as she has been on the Dutton ranch, Monica has been the moral compass on the ranch, and by extension the show, but the latest clip shows how much the ranch has corrupted her. To be fair, Monica hasn't had it easy in season 2 of the show. She was subject to racial profiling, attacks and finally the kidnapping of her son. All these incidents have culminated in her wanting this - wanting the Beck brothers to die a slow death at the hands of Kayce. She seeks revenge.
Season 2 of 'Yellowstone' has been a thrilling ride. And with season 3 already in the works, we expect this finale to be explosive. Read our speculations for the finale episode.
