Who is Xavier Donte Alexander? Florida teacher solicits sex with 2-year-old online, travels to meet child
PALM BEACH COUNTY, FLORIDA: An elementary school teacher was arrested on April 1, Thursday following allegations of soliciting sex with a 2-year-old and traveling to meet with the child. The accused, Xavier Donte Alexander, 28, is a fourth grade teacher at the Grove Park Elementary School, Palm Beach Gardens, the Palm Beach County Sheriff's Office confirmed in a news release.
He has been held on a $1 million bond. An official statement by the authorities following court hearings is awaited. However, the PBSO posted on their Facebook account, detailing events leading up to the arrest. "Alexander was arrested and transported to the PBC Jail on the charges listed above. He will be attending the first appearance on Friday, April 2, 2021, morning," the post read.

However, this led to massive speculation among social media users who were confused if it was a sting operation. "Glad he's apprehended but, unless this was a sting, I'm hoping the person that was offering that child up was also arrested," one asked, while another cleared the air: "The parent alerted the police and the sting went into motion."
"2 years old? disgusting. I’m confused by traveling to meet ? I doubt the 2yr old can formulate a full sentence let alone arrange plans. Who is the parent?" one asked, to which another responded: " I imagine either it was a sting or a disgusting vile person selling the child. Either way, it’s just sickening."
Aside from his day job, Xavier had listed himself as a babysitter on several websites, Care.com being one of them. However, after the news of his arrest, the company has removed his profile from the site and has informed clients of the same. Talking to CBS12, a spokesperson said the report was "frightening and truly disturbing" and added that they had run a background check on Xavier before hiring him.
"We use a variety of safety protocols to detect bad actors and we continually monitor on-platform activity. Upon learning of this arrest, we promptly removed this person’s profile and notified families with whom he had been in contact that he is no longer on our platform. We have proactively reached out to local law enforcement and stand ready to assist in their investigation," the official added.
Xavier is a Palm Beach Gardens resident who went to school at the Suncoast Community High School in Riviera Beach, Palm Beach County. According to Conandaily report, he graduated with a 3.0 GPA in 2011. Three years later, he enrolled at the Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth Beach, Palm Beach County. He spent the next five years earning his degrees in youth development and general studies. By 2020, he had taken another bachelor’s degree in business administration and management. Also, Xavier interned at Christ Fellowship Church, was an after-school counselor and activity leader at the Marsh Pointe Elementary School in Palm Beach Gardens.
