xQc becomes emotional during livestream
During the Kick livestream, xQc said, “Yeah, it made me... maybe kind of lose faith in people, really. I think that's the one takeaway, chat. It made me lose faith in people, overall. A lot of events recently, like, I just lost faith in people entirely. I was like, 'Yeah, this is just, like, you can't trust anybody.'"
He also added, “Yeah, like I said, I wasn't... I'll always say this - I wasn't the best boyfriend at times. But, I don't think anybody deserves to feel that level of betrayal. I think it's just too much.”
The live streaming community has been talking about the relationship between xQc and Adept ever since the latter claimed that the streamer was "violating court orders".
As soon as internet users stumbled upon legal paperwork indicating that both were married, things swiftly got out of hand.
In reaction to the rumors, Felix eventually clarified that he was not married to Adept.
However, on September 30, 2023, Adept accused the former Overwatch pro of allegedly engaging in inappropriate behavior by allegedly bribing a channel moderator for sexual favors, sparking a controversy.
xQc responds to leaked private chats
xQc returned to his channel after a three-day break and addressed the current incident surrounding him and his ex-girlfriend Adept.
In an Instagram Story on September 30, Adept wrote, "Any streamers out there that are desperate enough to have s*x with their head moderators when they're lonely... don't talk about it with them over Discord. There are probably receipts out there. So cringe. So embarrassing."
Additionally, she shared a screenshot from Discord, claiming it displayed Felix communicating with an unidentified individual.
Adept added, “Preaching about life 'choices' when you choose to pay your mod thousands to f**k you? You know what... you're right. You got me. I forgot... wrist, house... etc.”
On October 1, 2023, xQc replied to the uproar and Adept's disclosure of his personal messages. He mentioned that the other appeared to have shot more than 700 photos using his phone, which was also used to record his phone and Discord chats.
xQc said, "Okay, I don't give a f**k anymore. I'll say how it is. I need you to understand - 700! Okay? And now, a lot of things were said in the past, by other parties and s**t that."
He also added, "I'm sure, now these days, you can start piecing it together when things like, 'Oh yeah, I've got receipts. Yeah, I've got this. Yeah, I've got that.' Yeah, cool bro! Cool man, that is fantastic, of course!"
