WWE Hall of Famer believes Logan Paul deserves to win US title against Rey Mysterio: 'He’s a heat-seeking missile'
CLEVELAND, OHIO: WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray said that he would book Logan Paul to win the US title “in a heartbeat”. He spoke about the match during Busted Open Radio, according to WrestlingInc.com.
Notably, Logan Paul made a return to WWE during the latest Smackdown edition where he had a segment with Rey Mysterio, the current US champion. Mysterio challenged Logan for a match at the Crown Jewel PPV to be held on November 4, 2023.
Bully Ray wants Logan Paul to win US title
Speaking about Logan Paul, Bully Ray said, "I would throw the United States Championship around Logan Paul’s waist in a heartbeat. It’s just good for business, such high visibility, especially outside the WWE. This is where that whole social media following comes in. Paul has done a fantastic job in the ring. He’s done a good job on the microphone. He’s a heat-seeking missile."
Logan Paul last had a match in WWE at SummerSlam 2023 where he faced Ricochet and won. After that, he focuse on his highly anticipated boxing match against Dillon Danis which was held on October 14. Logan won the match comprehensively.
Moreover, in the recently held episode of 'Monday Night Raw', he made a return to the red brand where he said that he could possibly form an alliance with Rey Mysterio's son Dominik.
Further in the show, he called out announcer Samantha Irvin on the ring and told her to announce him as the US champion but was interfered by her fiancee Ricochet. He confronted Paul and also attacked Dominik.
Possibility of Jake Paul's WWE debut
Logan Paul may think that his partnership with Dominik will help him fight Rey Mysterio for the United States Championship, but there's a chance it may work against him.
Jake Paul, Logan Paul's younger brother, would come back and confront Logan because of their newfound relationship with Dominik Mysterio.
Jake was in the WWE before deciding to pursue a career in boxing. However, he might face Logan Paul and have a professional ring debut. Jake could come out and attack Logan's relationship with Dominik even if Logan has him.
