‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’ is undoubtedly one of the best shows out there and the way season 1 ended, fans just could not wait for the show to come back. The time has finally come for the fans to tune in to Hulu and see their favorite characters back on screen. The first edition ended with Bobby Diggs (Ashton Sanders) shooting Attila and fleeing to Ohio with Dennis and Shurrie.

Season 2 starts from where the first edition ended. The trio has reached Ohio and Diggs is home and united with his family once again. However, trouble soon starts following him there as well and he comes face-to-face with his girlfriend's (Mecca) ex. He was trying to talk with Bobby’s girlfriend when he came up to him and said it’s time for him to go back. However, his men surround Bobby and it seemed that Bobby’s in trouble. But, his men got his back and they put the guns on Mecca's ex and his men.

'Wu-Tang: An American Saga' Season 1 finale ends on a cliffhanger, leaves fans begging Hulu for Season 2

A few moments later, we see Bobby leaving his girlfriend to her house, but her ex follows them and wants to take revenge. He is with his guys and just when he was trying to attack him, Bobby took out his gun and we hear a gunshot. Mecca's ex went to the police and told them his version of the story. Bobby’s family is really scared and his mother tells him to surrender. He does exactly that and is sent to jail. His mother, Linda Diggs (Erika Alexander), and partner get hold of a lawyer, who says he will only take the case after he meets Diggs.

The meeting happens and after a conversation between the two, we see the lawyer taking the case. In jail, he gets the news that his friend Dennis (Siddiq Saunderson) has been shot by some men and has been taken to the hospital. On the other hand, his mother’s partner, Jerome (Bokeem Woodbine) comes to visit him in jail and tells him that they have the bail money. Also, he gives the news that his sister Shurrie (Zolee Griggs) has given birth to a baby boy. Bobby realizes that his chances of getting out are slim because he’s a black man and behind the bars for “attempted murder.”

He tells Jerome to have that money and start a new life by making the family come back on track. However, he soon realizes that he needs to be out for doing what he wants to. The former musician gets bail and he meets his nephew along with his parents.

The trial date has finally arrived and it’s time for Bobby to tell his story. He is nervous and asks for a recess break, but the judge doesn’t allow him that. His lawyer tells him that this is his show and the jury is his audience. Bobby finally tells what happened by rapping and the jury finds him “not guilty.”

The episode was a perfect start for season 2 and it tells us how deep Bobby has gone into the world of crime. However, it also gave a glimpse of how music is still the best thing in his life. When he talks with his younger brother and talks about music, we get to know how badly he misses finishing the songs that he couldn’t. This season might be about Bobby going back to his roots and starting his musical career once again.

‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’ returns to Hulu with a new episode every Wednesday.
