Motherhood is a gift and a miracle, or so every mother feels, at least once in a while. But it is also a hot mess and can be the toughest challenge to deal with and this show proves just that. After three successful seasons and a long wait since its third season, the Canadian show is back with Season 4. Get ready to join the rollercoaster ride of the lives of working moms.

Release date

‘Workin' Moms' Season 4 has already aired in Canada. And now, the season will debut on Netflix US on May 6, 2020.

Plot

The plot of the sitcom follows the wild ride of four 30-something working mothers and friends who try to balance their jobs, family and love life in modern-day Toronto.

Between season one and three, we saw how Kate Foster and her shrink Anne Carlson attend a "mommies group" and meet Jenny Matthews and Frankie Coyne. The four them become friends and start sharing the struggles of their motherhood in an urban, working environment. Throughout three seasons, we saw their chaos, tantrums, upheavals in careers, and identity and existential crises. All this while they try to find semblance and order in the confusion and reinvent themselves. The idea and concept are largely based on the lead actor and show's creator, Catherine Reitman's personal experiences.

And now, in Season 4, we will see them back from their maternity leaves and how things go back to the old routine or perhaps get worse as they navigate between kids, bosses and personal relationships, while maintaining their sanity.
