DURHAM, NORTH CAROLINA: This may be one of the shortest dates ever. After being dumped by her date just 45 seconds into their first date after meeting online, a woman was left speechless. The man later texted her to say he "wasn't feeling it."

After speaking for about four days, Rachel Wilson, 28, decided to meet the man after he scheduled their meeting for Friday, January 13. They had connected through Hinge. Wilson and her date decided to go to a neighborhood sports bar for some chicken wings and a beer. Just 45 seconds into their date, he said he had to move his car and stepped out. And that was that. She never heard from him after he sent her the aforementioned text. She made a video about her experience on TikTok.

'Sorry wasn't feeling it'

His message read, "Sorry wasn't feeling it [sad face emoji]." Wilson said, "I stood in front of the restaurant waiting for about five minutes before I got the text, I didn't respond and immediately deleted his number and have heard no word from him since."

Speaking about the date, Wilson added, "I think if I was not a confident person, this would have honestly wrecked me, but luckily I am very secure and confident in who I am, so it won't affect the way I approach dating moving forward," per The Independent.

No red flags

Prior to the meeting, Wilson did not see any red flags. She said, "I liked that he made solid plans right off the bat." She then explained how she felt when she met someone on a dating app. She said, "I hate when you meet someone on a dating app and talk back and forth forever with no solid plans to meet. We went to a sports bar-type place and planned on getting chicken wings and a beer."

On being told he wanted to move his car, Wilson noticed a sign on the restaurant's door that warned the patrons about vehicles being parked in improper spots being towed away. Hence, she believed his reason was genuine, per The Mirror.

Wilson did not realize he genuinely did not want to keep hanging out with her until she got his message. Wilson's TikTok video has garnered over four million views so far.
