Winter weather advisory and potential hazards for northern and eastern Arizona
According to ABC15, The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for elevations above 7,000 feet across northern and eastern Arizona.
Projections indicate a snowfall range of 2 to 8 inches, with snow levels expected to plummet to as low as 5,000 feet.
Officials are cautioning drivers about the potential risks associated with treacherous driving conditions, including slippery roads and reduced visibility, especially as the storm brings cold and gusty winds.
Multiple storms bring cooler weather, rain, and possible snowfall
Simultaneously, in Phoenix, a series of storms is poised to impact Arizona, ushering in cooler temperatures, rainfall, and even snowfall in higher elevations.
The initial storm is anticipated to introduce rain and snow showers across portions of the high country on Wednesday November 29, night.
Although minimal impact is expected in the Valley, the subsequent storm, slated for Thursday and Friday, (30 Nov to Dec 1) may yield measurable rain, with forecast models hinting at a quarter to half an inch of precipitation in parts of the Phoenix metropolitan area, particularly on Thursday night and Friday morning.

Winds are expected to intensify, reaching gusts of 25 mph in the Valley and 30 mph in elevated terrains.
