'The Outlaws' Season 4 Update: Here's the renewal status for Prime Video's comic thriller series
BRISTOL, UNITED KINGDOM: 'The Outlaws' Season 3 started streaming on May 31, 2024, on Prime Video, and at the end of the five-episode long series, the viewers are left wondering if there will be another season for the comic thriller series.
Created by Elgin James and Stephen Merchant, 'The Outlaws' features an ensemble cast of Stephen Merchant, Rhianne Barreto, Darren Boyd, Gamba Cole, Jessica Gunning, Clare Perkins, Eleanor Tomlinson, and Charles Babalola.
The third season ends with Rani Rekowski (Rhianne Barreto) and the team of community service workers getting The Dean (Claes Bang) back to prison after providing evidence of his crimes to the police. Meanwhile, Rani who was in a dilemma throughout the season ends up reuniting Ben (Gamba Cole) with Tori (Silvia Presente) after earlier asking him to give her relationship with Ben another chance.
So will there be another season 'The Outlaws'? Here is all we know.
'The Outlaws' Season 4 update
Unfortunately for the fans of the series, there is no announcement from the makers or Prime Video about the renewal of this series for the fourth season. Besides, the antagonist is defeated and there are no open ends left in the story to explore.
Having said that, we did see the antagonist The Dean come back for vengeance in the third season after being defeated in the second season so there's no reason why he cannot be back again and plot revenge against Rani and others.
So, if the reception to the third season is good and the streaming numbers are good, the streaming platform might renew the series for a fourth season.
What could be the plot of 'The Outlaws' Season 4?
The fourth season of 'The Outlaws' could see a reunion between Rani and Ben as they come close to reuniting multiple times in Season 3 but ultimately it is Ben and Tori who are together and Rani chooses to be the free spirit that she is. However, there is an undeniable chemistry between Ben and Rani which could bring them back together particularly if they are united by a mission or against The Dean at some stage of the season.
Rani could once again get into trouble. As we have seen in the last few seasons, Rani's choices and way of life always keep getting her into trouble. Now with The Dean angrier than ever, he would want to get back at Rani and the other community service members.
At the end of season 3, Gabby (Eleanor Tomlinson) is finally pregnant after the implants are successful. The fourth season could see Greg (Stephen Merchant) and Gabby handling a baby as they handle The Dean.
