Even though major national polls show Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden with a commanding lead over President Donald Trump in Elections 2020. A small group of pollsters have predicted that Trump might have even more shy voters in this election. Robert Cahaly of The Trafalgar Group had predicted a Republican victory in 2016 after finding that Trump was leading in the key battleground states of Michigan and Pennsylvania. This year, Cahaly's analysis has again found a small lead for Trump in both of those states, contradicting nearly every other major poll.

During the last presidential election, Trafalgar's faced embarrassment after projections vastly underrated Trump's winning chances. Cahaly said its 'quite possible' that the same will happen in 2020, again because a hidden Trump vote was overlooked.  ''There are more [shy Trump voters] than last time and it's not even a contest,'' Cahaly told The Hill on Monday, November 2.

According to a Daily Mail story, "Susquehanna Polling and Research have also promoted the hidden Trump voter theory, as its most recent survey put Trump and Biden neck and neck in Wisconsin and gave the president a four-point lead in Florida." "There are a lot of voters out there that don't want to admit they are voting for a guy that has been called a racist," Susquehanna analyst Jim Lee told WFMZ this week. "That submerged Trump factor is very real. We have been able to capture it and I'm really disappointed others have not," he added.

As soon as these predictions came to light, people started talking bout it, as one Internet user said, "HEADS UP! If Trump pieces together an Electoral College win on Tuesday, at least one pollster — and perhaps only one — will be able to say, “I told you so.” That person is Robert Cahaly. He also did it back in 2016." Another one mocked Cahaly and said, "You're trying to deceive people because Biden has a strong lead over Trump, according to several surveys."

Waiting for the right time, another one said "We will see if he’s right like he was in ‘16. I think he’s a lot closer than the lefty polls that have Biden up big." While another one questioned Cahaly and said, "@RobertCahaly you are fascinating to me. I have to ask, you got 3 swing states wrong last time. You have trump in the mid 270s so obviously very close. You said on Ben Shapiro’s show PA could go Biden. What 3 would you say you could be wrong about this time? PA, FL, AZ? Thanks."
