Michael B Jordan's Killmonger was one of the integral characters in 'Black Panther' and if the leaks and speculations are true, then the 'Creed' star might be seen in a cameo role in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'. While he did have a noble ending in 'Black Panther' despite being the antagonist, Jordan could return as a blast from the past in the upcoming sequel.

The official synopsis reads, "In Marvel Studios’ 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,' Queen Ramonda (Angela Bassett), Shuri (Letitia Wright), M’Baku (Winston Duke), Okoye (Danai Gurira), and the Dora Milaje (including Florence Kasumba), fight to protect their nation from intervening world powers in the wake of King T’Challa’s death. As the Wakandans strive to embrace their next chapter, the heroes must band together with the help of War Dog Nakia (Lupita Nyong’o) and Everett Ross (Martin Freeman) and forge a new path for the kingdom of Wakanda."

Will Michael B Jordan appear in 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever'?

A Reddit leak from a Brazilian account suggests that Shuri will meet Erik Killmonger in the astral plane when he actually goes in search of T'Challa (Chadwick Boseman). With Wakanda in disarray after his death, the kingdom looks at the next successor. Here's what the account said, "Shuri will try to go to the astral plane to find her brother, but it's Killmonger she sees and he's remorseful. He teaches her how to become a Black Panther."

Whether the leak is true or not is up for debate. Jordan in an interview with BBC Radio1 last year said, "I don't know what Marvel has up their sleeves, so I can't let them down nor get them excited with any information that may or may not come out of my mouth, that I may or may not have said ... and that's all I can say if I said anything at all," he said. This suggests there is no official confirmation, but the possibility of an appearance cannot be ruled out. While Boseman's death makes the film all about honoring his legacy, it is storytelling at the end of the day, and there's always room for resurrecting some characters.
