UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Karen Waldrup's second performance in 'The Voice' Season 25 finale received approval from her coaches. However, fans don't understand the hoopla around Karen and disagree with Dan + Shay

Karen stated that music has brought light into her life, enabling her to travel and explore the world. She claims that music has given her everything she desired, turning her life into a rollercoaster ride that she thoroughly enjoys.

Music has taught her to be adaptive, flexible, and trustworthy. Her appearance on 'The Voice' has provided her with a platform to share her songs with people all over the world.

Karen concluded her appearance on the show with the uptempo number 'I'm Alright' by Jo Dee Messina. Shay Mooney complimented her for "never straying from the path" of her brand. Dan Smyers backed him up, saying, "I am biased. You are the most consistent performer on this show. You deserve to win."

However, on Reddit, fans expressed their opinions, saying "Karen is #5 for me. Was surprised she made it over Madison." Another person chimed in, "I'm not a country music fan in general, but i'm able to recognize sometimes when they're pretty talented. that being said, I still don't understand the karen hype and why everyone seems to think she's a stand out act."

One user commented, "I like country and don’t find her particularly good. Josh is better imo." Another user wrote, "I think Karen could have chosen a better upbeat song."

On X, one fan wrote, "Yeah, this wasn’t it for you, Karen. Probably shouldn’t have touched Jo Dee Messina." Another person added, "Karen-this is a Voice Finale song? So strange! It’s just a bland, forgettable old Country song?"
