'Love Is Blind' viewers were taken aback when Jimmy Presnell had a weird reaction on seeing Chelsea Blackwell during their first face-to-face meeting

CHARLOTTE, NORTH CAROLINA: From the beginning, the 'Love Is Blind' Season 6's viewers had reservations about the newly engaged couple, Jimmy Presnell and Chelsea Blackwell, and perceived them as less than ideal.

Many speculated that their relationship was riddled with red flags, predicting an imminent split, especially after Jimmy dumped Jessica Vestal solely because she was a mother. This fueled doubts about Jimmy's genuine feelings for Chelsea.

More concerns arose when Jimmy's initial reactions upon seeing Chelsea weren't overwhelmingly positive, leading viewers to question whether he found his new fiancee physically attractive. 

Certain comments he made about Amber "AD" Desiree to Chelsea also bolstered the viewers' speculations regarding their lack of chemistry, with many taking to social media to voice their opinions. 

One wrote, "Chelsea deserves better. Jimmy is giving red flags left to right," and another commented, "this miscommunication between chelsea and jimmy is a red flag."

A person stated, "AND JUST LIKE THAT!!! he is NOT into her. i repeat jimmy is NOT into chelsea. i called it, and he's going to break that poor girl's heart," while someone else remarked, "like literally chelsea's reaction is ten times more giving than jimmy's reaction."

"So Jimmy just told Jessica he can’t say “I love you” until he’s sure and then he goes on a date and tells Chelsea he loves her… yeah I was right all along. He was never picking Jessica after she told him she had a kid," opined an individual. 

One more advised, "Chelsea leave that crusty man named Jimmy. He really trying downplay the situation and not own up to hurting your feelings even if his intent wasn’t to ghost you all night and the AD situation."

"Jimmy know damn well the ONLY two reasons why he picked Chelsea over Jessica is because she has a child, and Chelsea claims that she’s Megan Fox’s doppelgänger. This is a recipe for disaster," said another person. 

Jimmy Presnell wasn't impressed with Chelsea Blackwell's appearance 

While Jimmy didn't say anything directly, his actions strongly hinted that Chelsea didn't meet his physical expectations. He subtly criticized her appearance by suggesting she lied about resembling Megan Fox.

During their first face-to-face meeting, Chelsea asked, "Is it what you expected?" Instead of immediately confirming, Jimmy hesitated and replied, "You told me a thousand things. We sort of, like, hit on looks, but..."

In a subsequent personal interview, he confessed, "She definitely lied to me on some, uh... how she looked. Chelsea told me she looks like Meghan Fox." Despite Chelsea not living up to her description, Jimmy claimed to still be in love with her.

Why did Jimmy Presnell choose Chelsea Blackwell over Jessica Vestal? 

On 'Love Is Blind' Season 6, Jimmy had two connections, Chelsea and Jessica. While he had a stronger connection with Jessica, things took a turn when she revealed she had a 10-year-old daughter.

The dynamics between Jessica and Jimmy changed after that revelation, even though Jimmy consistently expressed that he liked her.

He eventually chose Chelsea, referring to her as his best friend, and noted that she understood him better. In the end, Jimmy decided to pursue a relationship with Chelsea over Jessica due to the deeper understanding and bond he felt with her.
