LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Star Wars' enthusiasts, get ready to embark on an exhilarating journey as Disney+ is gearing up to release 'The Acolyte,' a highly anticipated addition to the franchise.

Set in the High Republic era, the series promises to delve into the darker side of the Force.

Starring Amandla Stenberg, Lee Jung-jae, Manny Jacinto, Dafne Keen, Charlie Barnett, and Jodie Turner-Smith in pivotal roles, 'The Acolyte' follows a former Padawan who reunites with her Jedi Master to investigate a series of crimes.

The series has piqued curiosity due to its unique premise and setting in the High Republic era. Many fans are speculating about the possible appearance of Darth Plagueis, a Dark Lord of the Sith, in 'The Acolyte.'

There has been speculation that 'The Acolyte' could introduce major villains from the Star Wars universe. Darth, known for his dark nature, could fit well with the darker tone of 'The Acolyte.'

Additionally, the series is set roughly 100 years before the events of 'Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace', during an era when the Jedi Order is at its peak.

Darth, a Sith Lord known for his mastery of the dark side of the Force, falls within this timeframe.

However, 'The Acolyte' is intentionally avoiding the use of familiar characters from the Star Wars universe. It appears that the creators are dedicated to crafting new characters and narratives set within the High Republic era, providing a refreshing outlook on the Star Wars galaxy.

In an interview with ComicBook, 'The Acolyte' creator Leslye Headland confirmed that the series will not feature Yoda or any other existing Star Wars characters.

Does this mean Darth will not appear in the series? Her comments suggest that the iconic villain is unlikely to appear in the series.

While fans have speculated about the potential inclusion of major villains, there is no confirmation from the makers of 'The Acolyte' regarding the appearance of Darth in the series.

Given that the series is set in the High Republic era, a time when the Sith are believed to be extinct, it is possible that 'The Acolyte' could introduce new Sith Lords or villains to the Star Wars universe.
