Why was Kristen Doute eliminated? Bravo star claims men in 'The Goat' mansion felt 'threatened by women'
CULVER CITY, CALIFORNIA: Kristen Doute finds herself on the chopping block in Episode 4 of 'The GOAT'. After the 'Vanderpump Rules' star planned to convince the majority of the house to vote off her Bravo colleague Reza Farahan, her plot failed, leading to her departure from The GOAT mansion.
When asked to say a few words about her elimination, Kristen unleashed a tirade, pointing fingers at every male contestant in the mansion. She said, "To all of the men who voted me out, every single man, like are you that threatened by the women in the house?"
In his confessional, 'RuPaul's Drag Race' performer Justin Johnson disagreed, stating, "We uplift women; we celebrate women. Just because it's not you, honey, don't make it about gender."
Kristen continued to attack the men, adding, "You guys are so scared of the women that you need to have men majority ruling the house." Describing the situation as "unjust," she questioned whether their actions were a form of mansplaining.
Reza emphasized in his confessional that it wasn't a battle between men and women, but rather a refusal to cope with "Hurricane Kristen" anymore. "This is her time to bounce," he continued.
Kristen expressed relief that she wasn't departing the mansion in tears and complaining, as "the men" had expected of her. She stated that she entered the series as a documentary reality television star and had little grasp of the game's dynamics.
Kristen deemed it "stupid" for men to exclusively target women in the house. "Those boys - they get the man's world - but they wouldn't be nothing without a woman or a girl."
Kristen Doute calls CJ Franco 'not a girl's girl' after bitter 'The GOAT' elimination
Kristen spoke briefly with CJ Franco before departing The GOAT mansion. "You're honestly the worst of the worst," she said. She also slammed the 'FBoy Island' star CJ Franco, stating, "You're not a girl's girl."
In her confessional, CJ used the 'Mean Girls' reference to compare Kristen's "Regina George" style attack. Despite finding the talk "bizarre," CJ expressed relief that Kristen seemed to be exiting with grace, only for that expectation to be dashed.
Kristen looked down at CJ from the mansion balcony, clutching her small golden goat, and said, "I meant what I said; you're the worst of the worst. You are not here for women."
She added, "This is you taking the men's side, not only in this house, but in this world." This happened after CJ crossed the women in the house in Episode 3, which resulted in the elimination of 'Love is Blind' star Lauren Speed-Hamilton.
CJ claimed in her confessional that Kristen was upset with her because she voted against a woman, and her reaction was to "tear down a woman from the heights of her feminism. None of that makes sense. I'm wildly unentertained."
Kristen Doute puts 'Bravo alliance on pause' to vote out Reza Farahan from 'The GOAT' mansion
Kristen had contemplated throwing in the towel and heading home after losing in the elimination game during Episode 4, which the team lost owing to her "loss of hearing" while playing. However, her Bravo friend, Jill Zarin, gave her hope and pushed her to persuade everyone in the house to vote for someone else.
Jill and Kristen sought 'The Challenge' star Da'vonne Rogers for assistance, and the three agreed to focus on Reza during the upcoming elimination. Despite having a 'Bravo alliance' with Reza, Kristen opted to halt it.
She approached The GOAT of the week, 'Survivor' star Wendell Holland, and tried to flip the boys against Reza. Despite her best attempts, Kristen lost to Reza 8-3.
Jill Zarin wants Reza Farahan out of 'The Goat' mansion to remove 'toxicity'
Reza praised Kristen's 'Daytime Emmy '-worthy parting speech shortly after she departed. He continued to rant about Kristen putting CJ under the bus, despite her botching the elimination game in episode 4.
As Jill from 'The Real Housewives of New York City' urged everyone to "take the temperature down," Reza continued to ramble about Kristen, stating her spectacle was "not cool at all." Jill reminded everyone that someone who was formerly popular with everyone in the house had recently been eliminated.
When Reza expresses his satisfaction that Kristen is gone and insists she didn't deserve to be in the game, Jill responds in her confessional, "Don't stamp on someone's grave." Jill met with 'Big Brother' star Da'vonne in private and complained about Reza's "ranting and raving," which she found unpleasant. She advised that they remove the "toxicity".
The first four episodes of 'The GOAT' are available for streaming on Prime Video and Amazon Freevee. New episodes will be released weekly on Thursday until the finale on June 27.
