LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Fatboy SSE, originally from New Jersey but now residing in sunny Los Angeles, is living proof that you can make it out of the trenches, transforming nothing into something and inspiring others to do the same. While most people recognize him from his funny videos, his true love is music.

An Instagram sensation with millions of followers, Fatboy SSE is a performer, actor, businessman, and social media personality. He wed Tiana Kimbrough, a brand ambassador, and businesswoman, four years ago; the two of them have three children. However, while they build on their trust and communication skills throughout this season of 'Couples Retreat', their combined infidelity difficulties and Fatboy's very public gambling addiction will be laid out on the Blackjack tables.

Fatboy's run-ins with the authorities

Fatboy SSE, a rapper and social media sensation, was arrested for marijuana possession and bail-jumping a few outstanding bench warrants in May 2019 after being stopped for a driving infraction. He captioned the video of his release from custody with the phrase "THEY CANT HOLD US BACK #FATBOYGANG," fittingly documenting every moment of his incarceration for his nearly 6 million Instagram followers.

Fatboy wasn't having his first run-in with the cops. Was there anything unusual about the time? Fatboy began with cannabis and dime bags before progressing to stronger substances. He was in and out of jail for a while before opting to work at Chipotle. He was let go after a few months, which is when he began to create an online following on his YouTube channel. When Fatboy's sister died, he realized he was in danger of being arrested again, so he decided to stop peddling drugs and focus on living a normal life with a regular job, which is when he started working at Chipotle.

Fatboy once lost over $400,000 in gambling

Refusing to be labeled, the rapper, actor, and entrepreneur blasted onto the scene with his humorous skits, rapidly growing his social media presence to over 5.7 million followers on Instagram alone. Fatboy has released his most poignant song to date, 'Fly Away,' with a stunning remix from Blueface on the way.

Fatboy discusses his impulsive gambling, creating his own cannabis company, overcoming ghetto issues, and more on the 16th episode of Shirley's Temple! He mentioned during the conversation that he was sad since he had just lost $50,000 at the casino. "I go to that s**t all the time; I love the casino. I'm an impulsive gambler. I play roulette, I'm the king of roulette. Over a long-term span, I lost mad bread. I lost over $400K in gambling, but I won big too," he added.

Tune in to watch 'Couples Retreat' as it premieres on May 2 on MTV at 9 pm ET.
