NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Love is a hard game! The same was the situation with 'Summer House' star Andrea Denver. He got demoted from being loved to being a friend. The 31-year-old embarked on a fling with Paige DeSorbo. The two sparked a romantic connection on a trip to Vermont. However, Sorbo chose to take ahead her relationship with Craig Conover instead of Denver.
By the time summer rolled out, Sorbo found herself connected more towards the 'Winter House's charm Conover. She further made it clear that her decision of taking her relationship forward with Conover had nothing to do with Denver. The only reason she left behind Denver was that Sorbo felt more connection with Conover than any other suitors. Keep reading to know why was Denver demoted to being just a friend rather than a lover.

Why was 'Summer House' star Andrea Denver demoted to a friend?
Sorbo finds Denver "amazing." She claimed to have stuck with him "as a friend" for a while, according to PageSix. She stated, "I think Andrea is amazing. I have nothing but the sweetest things to say about him." Sorbo started hanging out with Denver after she returned from her trip to Vermont. "We hung out maybe four or five times and he wanted to be exclusive," claimed Sorbo. However, Sorbo felt more attracted to Conover, and while on her trip to Vermont, both kissed. It indeed made Sorbo feel that there is a potential for something to happen between Conover and her. However, when she came back to New York, she felt she was not 100% into Denver. Sorbo stated, "the last thing I would want to do is commit to something that I knew my heart wasn't 100 percent in. So, I kind of turned him down saying, 'I want to stay single.'"
The love triangle turned awful when Denver and Sorbo carried out their flirtatious attitude in Hamptons and at the same time, her and Conover's relationship was getting serious. This situation turned out to be gruesome for all three of them. Sorbo took the step to end things with Denver and stay focused on Conover.

At last, that's what Denver claimed. After seeing Sorbo shut him down, Denver cried and claimed that it "kills" him to see Sorbo with someone else. He also claimed to be "blindsided" by Sorbo and Conover's coupling. Shutting down all the slams, Sorbo stated, "I don't ever want someone to be sad and me be the reason. So I really felt horrible when I heard him say that (talking about blindsiding claims)." ET reported Sorbo claiming, "Craig was not the reason I stopped hanging out with Andrea."
Sorbo further cleared that she didn't connect with Conover romantically when she broke up with Denver. Back then, she was no one's girlfriend. She further slammed Denver saying she owes no one an explanation for the decision she made.
Are Paige DeSorbo and Craig Conover still dating?
Conover and Sorbo are maintaining a long-distance relationship. Sorbo lives in New York while Conover is in Charleston, South Carolina, as reported by People. Conover claims that in the coming years, the couple will be spending most of their time in New York City. However, when it comes to expanding the family and planning kids, it will be done in Charleston. However, Conover added, "Also, it's not my decision, so we'll see what Paige wants to do. I love it up here, but I think as we start to move in that more settled-down direction, it will be further south."
Conover has a feeling that he and Sorbo will end up getting married. Indeed, the proposals are in the bag. But, Conover wants Dorbo to be on the same page in order to move ahead with the proposal.
