Why is Trump staying in Oval Office past work hours? Internet says 'he's in there crying all day'

As he refuses to concede the presidential race to President-elect Joe Biden, President Donald Trump is spending increasing time couped up in the Oval Office of the White House with most people having little idea as to what he is up staying up way past his work hours.
"Trump has stayed in the Oval Office later than normal this week. He's still there now, was there until almost 8 last night, around 7:20 night before and until 8:15 Monday. He typically goes to the residence around 6:30 or so, where he has dinner & makes calls," CNN White House correspondent Kaitlan Collins tweeted.

While there was no clarity as to what the president was up to in the Oval Office, it did not stop people from contemplating what he could be doing in there. "In there crying all day" one said, while another commented, "He doesn't want to go to the residence. Melania has urged him to concede. He doesn't want to hear it." A third wrote, "And still he somehow manages to do absolutely nothing as President," alluding to the report that Trump was getting very little accomplished in his final days in the White House.
Trump made his first public appearance in six days on Wednesday, November 11, when he visited Arlington National Cemetery for a somber ceremony commemorating Veterans Day alongside first lady Melania Trump and Vice President Mike Pence. He did not speak at the event. The president's light public schedule was defended by a White House spokesman who said he is "carrying out all of his duties." "Just as he promised, President Trump is fighting hard for a free and fair election while at the same time carrying out all of his duties to put America First," deputy press secretary Judd Deere said in a statement.
One Twitter user opined, "He’s probably making grievance calls right about now." Another added, "Reshuffling chairs on deck of titanic." Someone else remarked, "I’m sure the tv works in there just as well as all the other rooms." Then one said, "Like an office worker trying to appear industrious a week before salary review. Won’t work."

However, Trump continues to rage against the outcome of the election as he fires off one tweet after the next voicing his baseless claims of voter fraud. It was also reported that Trump did meet with his political and White House advisers on Tuesday to discuss the next steps in his legal strategy in an attempt to win a second term. He has also prompted senior officials across the government to announce that any cooperation with Biden's team was forbidden.
As a result, Twitter users let their imaginations run wild when it comes to predicting what Trump might be doing in the Oval Office. "He's up to something not good," one wrote while another said, "That is alarming though. I fear he is plotting some sort of series finale surprise." Someone else commented, "Hes just sitting there saying goodbye and figuring out who hes going to fire next." The next added, "Shredder's getting a good workout." And another quipped, "He's plotting a LOT of somethings."
