Why is 'Good Girls' Season 4 Episode 5 not airing this week? Here's what to expect when NBC show returns
Fans of 'Good Girls' have been left with quite a cliffhanger on their hands. The last episode saw Beth (Christina Hendricks) and the girls being presented with the possibility of starting a new life, under the protection of the FBI. But as is always the case with the 'Good Girls' gang, nothing is ever quite so simple. The girls had to get rid of hitman Mr Fitzpatrick (Andrew McCarthy) before he got rid of Rio (Manny Montana), in which case their deal with the FBI would no longer hold. Beth in a stroke of brilliance gets Rio to get rid of Fitzpatrick, by pretending that he is one of the FBI agents on Rio's trail. However, we see the episode end with Rio getting suspicious about who Fitzpatrick really was.
The question is how will Rio take revenge on Beth and can she and the girls ever get the freedom they desire from their life of crime. So many questions, yet all the answers will have to wait yet another week, because 'Good Girls' Season 4 Episode 5 will now release only on April 11.

'Good Girls' Season 4 Episode 4 recap
'Good Girls' Season 4 Episode 4 see the girls excited that perhaps there is light at the end of the tunnel for them. However there is one very big obstacle in their way, hit man Mr Fitzpatrick. After all if he gets rid of Rio, then their deal with the FBI goes away. The girls then try to reach Fitzpatrick, but it is like he has disappeared into thin air. Finally after they do a favour for his henchman, Beth meets Fitzpatrick and asks him to call off the job. Fitzpatrick however still smarting from being rejected by Beth, refuses to call off the job, saying if he doesn't go through with it, Beth becomes a liability. Beth then decides to take matters into her own hands. She meets Rio and tells him the Feds are after him. She hands a picture over to Rio, saying this is the picture of the person running the FBI operation. We don’t see the picture at this point. She says his name is Dave, the assumption is that it's the FBI agent Dave who visited Beth earlier.
We then see a scene where Rio is walking down the street incognito with a hoodie on and Fitzpatrick is focusing his gun on Rio. We only later see it’s a decoy Fitzpatrick is focussing on. The next thing we know is that Fitzpatrick and is shot by Rio.
But as smart as Beth is, Rio always seems to be one step ahead of her. In this case, the quizzical expression on Fitzpatrick's face when Rio calls him Dave before he kills him, has probably also given the game away. Rio tells Beth in his trademark casual way, that Dave, the so-called FBI agent Beth gave him information on, was not just out to put him behind bars, he was out to kill him. Rio makes it clear that he finds this suspicious. Beth says she didn't know the Feds wanted to kill him, maybe they had run out of options because Beth was their only hope of getting any information on Rio. Rio says maybe, but as he walks away, we see that he has understood that Beth has been lying to him.
