GRENADA, CARRIBEAN: Barbara 'Barbie' Pascual and Kyle Stillie from 'Below Deck' Season 11 have learned the hard way that not everything is fair in the world of love and yachting. During Season 11, a romantic relationship blossomed between the stew and the deckhand, despite facing obstacles and challenges.
As the charter season drew to a close, the pair professed their love, cementing their bond and commitment. Unfortunately, tensions peaked between Kyle and Barbie during their last crew night out in the finale episode, casting a shadow over their relationship.
Before their falling out, Barbie and Kyle had been discussing their plans for the upcoming post-charter season. In separate interviews, they both expressed their appreciation for the bond they had formed.
While video chatting with his mother on Facetime, Kyle confessed that he had developed deep feelings for Barbie and said, "In all seriousness, I actually think I fell in love, it's really f****d up."
In a separate interview, Kyle opened up, saying, "I've not brought many girls home to meet my mother. My relationships don't tend to last. I think I see a future with her. I think I am in love with Barbie."
Their joy was short-lived as tensions arose during the final crew dinner when Barbie grew annoyed with Kyle for stripping down to go swimming. This incident led to a serious conversation between the two about their relationship problems.
Barbie confessed that she was genuinely beginning to develop deep feelings of love for Kyle and believed he deserved her affection. Meanwhile, Kyle owned up to his mistake, expressing regret for his actions and acknowledging that he had behaved foolishly without clear thinking.
Barbie expressed her love for Kyle, who reciprocated by expressing his love for her as well. However, their relationship took a downturn shortly after they confessed their feelings for each other in the Season 11 finale.
During the ride back to St David, stew Xandi Olivier expressed to Barbie that if she were in charge, she would have decided to let Barbie go. Annoyed by Xandi's blunt comment, Barbie felt that it was too direct.
This frustration prompted Barbie to not only lash out at Xandi but also her interior team colleagues Fraser Olender and Paris Field. Additionally, Barbie felt disappointed in Kyle for not standing up for her in the situation. Kyle suggested that Barbie needed to calm down and take a more relaxed approach, as they sat together in the car.
Barbie replied by asserting that Kyle needed to start supporting her instead of holding her back. She told him, "And if you don't start backing me." "I'm back in your corner, but I'm telling you, you need to shut the f**k up. Like, that's me back in your corner," he shared.
After getting back to the boat, Barbie told Kyle, "You're supposed to be the person on my team. All you did is back other people now. Get the f**k away from me, leave me alone. " Following the incident, she decided to leave the boat early one night.
"Me and Kyle are freaking done. I'm never gonna be with somebody who doesn't have my back, and now, to have this guy I broke down every wall with, and to have this guy I went against my family with, to have this guy sit next to me and let these other people attack me is just — Kyle is the biggest disappointment of them all. I never want to see Kyle again," Barbie said.

Although Barbie Pascual decided to leave the yacht before the trip was over, she doesn't perceive it as giving up or quitting. During an interview in the final episode, Barbie addressed her choice to leave the Bravo show and clarified, "This is not me quitting, because my job's done."
"All I've done this whole season is put my ego aside and work on myself. And to have these people continuously continue to be against me just sucks. Nobody here cares about me," she added.

The next morning, Kyle found himself alone on the boat as Barbie had departed. He decided to share the text message she had sent him with Bosun Ben Willoughby, reading it aloud for him to hear. "'Change your f**king flight, I never want to see you again.' Put my heart on the table," Kyle read.
During an interview, Kyle mentioned that he was gutted over the situation with Barbie. Although Barbie didn't make a reappearance in the episode, she made sure to update Captain Kerry Titheradge on all the details of what transpired through a phone call.
"You know, I'm just disappointed that this all went down like this. I'm done, you know? I don't need to be on a yacht where people are attacking me. I need to work on myself, but I also need to work on myself with people that care about me, not with people that don't," Barbie said.
During the interview, Kerry admitted that Barbie had faced challenges in trying to assimilate into the social fabric of St David. "I feel for her, because she tried," he shared.
