DENVER, COLORADO: 'Married At First Sight' Season 17 Reunion Part 2 was filled with the stars abruptly leaving the Lifetime show and Austin Reed was one of them. Austin admitted to not feeling fine and complained about stomach ache. However, the viewers doubted Austin's claims.

Austin claimed to have a stomach bug and left the reunion for a while avoiding some shocking questions. Austin later returned for the session with a brand new look. Austin shaved his beard after having the stomach issue. However, after Lifetime show host Kevin Frazier asked about his health update, Austin responded, "Just needed a rest, relax, refresh.

He reflected on his new look and shared, "It was like 'All right, it's gotta go.'" However, the Lifetime show viewers claimed that Austin was faking his 'sickness'. A social media user claimed, "Austin is hungover because he has a drinking problem we saw all season." Another person added, "So it was Austin's funky azzed beard that was making him sick? Now that I can believe."

Another critic noted, "So it’s becoming very apparent that Austin has digestive issues (or is just afraid of women). Perhaps he felt naked without his hat." Another internet user penned, "Am I the only one thinking that Austin is faking like he’s sick so he doesn’t have to answer any of these questions."

Another X user said, "It’s sus that Austin suddenly didn’t feel well. I’m sorry if he really was sick, but I think the sudden illness was brought on by nerves because he didn’t want to answer questions about the producer." Another viewer wrote, "Austin is a scary azz bi@ch!!! Faking an illness to escape answering questions. That is what Becca was sobbing & snotting over? PLEASE!!!!"
