Goldfish and Gumball battled it out for 'The Masked Singer' trophy on Wednesday night

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: After Vanessa Hudgens, revealed to be the singer behind the Goldfish mask, was announced as the winner of 'The Masked Singer' Season 11, fans erupted with mixed reactions. Many viewers believed that Gumball, unmasked as Scott Porter, was more deserving of the win due to his consistently impressive performances throughout the season.

Fans took to social media to voice their opinions, with many stating that Gumball had delivered better songs and performances overall. Despite Goldfish's victory, a significant portion of the audience felt that Gumball was the true winner, expressing their disappointment with the final outcome.

Many fans believed Gumball was robbed and how his performances were top-notch every single time, stating that he should have won. 

"Gumball was the clear winner! He outperformed the fish Throw the voters out!!!," said a fan. "Whomever Gumball is..is an AMAZING vocalist," added another. "Gumball was robbed!!," said one.

Scott Porter unmasked as Gumball in 'The Masked Singer' finale 

In 'The Masked Singer' Season 11 finale, Scott Porter was unmasked as Gumball, surprising both the judges and viewers. Throughout the season, fans and judges speculated about the true identity of the singer behind the Gumball mask. In the finale, Gumball and Goldfish faced off for the trophy. After Goldfish, revealed to be Vanessa Hudgens, was declared the winner, the identity of Gumball was unveiled. To everyone's surprise, it was Scott Porter, Hudgens' co-star from the movie 'Bandslam'.

Despite losing, Porter took pride in his anonymity, feeling it was a "badge of honor" to have made it to the finale without being identified. He said, "At the end of the day, to make it all the way to the finale with them not having any idea of who I am, I think I’ll take that as a win."

Scott Porter reveals he identified Goldfish mask Vanessa Hudgens immediately 

In the Season 11 finale of 'The Masked Singer', Scott Porter revealed that he immediately identified Vanessa Hudgens as the singer behind the Goldfish mask. This surprising revelation came after Hudgens was crowned the winner of the season.

Scott Porter, who was unmasked as Gumball, shared that recognizing Hudgens' voice was not difficult for him because of their past work together in the movie 'Bandslam'. He said, "As someone who had worked with her before, that voice was unmistakable." His familiarity with Hudgens' voice allowed him to pinpoint her identity right away.

During a commercial break, Porter even hinted at his recognition by walking up to Hudgens on stage and saying, "I know you. You have no idea who I am." Despite Porter's certainty, Hudgens was completely surprised by his identity. She admitted that she would make a terrible judge on the show because she had "absolutely no idea who anyone was."
