Who was Riese Lenders? Tributes pour in for pilot who died in California plane crash that killed 6 passengers
MURRIETA, CALIFORNIA: A plane crash that took the lives of six people has devastated the victims’ family and friends. The Saturday, July 8, tragedy killed 25-year-old Riese Lenders of Rancho Palos Verdes; 32-year-old Manuel Vargas-Regalado of Temecula, and his wife Abigail Tellez-Vargas, 33.
The other three victims were 46-year-old Ibrahem Razick of Temecula, Lindsey Gleiche, 31, of Huntington Beach and Alma Razick, 51, of Temecula. Elliott Simpson, the National Transportation Safety Board investigator, said of the accident, according to The Guardian, "Most of the airplane, with the exception of the tail, was consumed by fire." As soon as news of the accident, which occurred at French Valley Airport in Murrieta, California, broke, people who knew some of the victims began to express their grief and condolences.
Who was Riese Lenders?
Lenders was reportedly a multi commercial pilot. Also, his Instagram page describes him as “Captain - RCL Aviation LLC.” His social media posts appeared to show that he liked surfing and hiking.

The fourth user said, “So upsetting to hear, praying for your family during this time, and ik you’ll continue your adventures up there 💛.”
A person stated, “Gonna miss those ‘drink review’ homie. Rest easy, it was a pleasure just to know you.” Another one remembered, “Thank you riese for taking me to fly and get ice cream the time we did in college. your jokes, the laugh was so contagious. I will be thinking of your sweet family in this hard time. fly high buddy 💙”
‘You’ll forever be in our hearts’
Besides, Razick, a car dealership owner and a former marine, was remembered by Fullerton Ford. In a social media post, it wrote, “Today our hearts are heavy in the Fullerton Ford OC family. Our owner Abraham Razick, tragically passed away yesterday. He was a loving husband, father, brother, and proud United States Marine.”
