'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' returned to TV as a limited series earlier this year to commemorate 20 years of the show being on the air. The episodes featured a slew of celebrities including Andy Cohen, Anderson Cooper, Jane Fonda, etc vying for the $1 million prize money to donate to their choice of charity. A new season of the show is about to start airing soon, featuring a mix of celebrities and frontline heroes and here's all you should know about it.

'Who Wants To Be A Millionaire' will start airing Sunday, October 18, at 9 pm ET only on ABC.
Plot
According to ABC's press release, this season will be quite similar to the one that aired earlier this March. Jimmy Kimmel will assume the role of the host and sitting opposite him on the hot seat will be a mix of both celebrity contestants playing for the charity of their choice as well as frontline heroes trying their hand at a $1 million prize. Just like the special edition in March, contestants in the new season, in addition to lifelines, "Ask the Host," "50:50" and "Phone a Friend," will also be able to invite an expert guest to help them answer questions. It could be a relative, a beloved teacher, or a famed trivia expert -- anyone they want -- to help them win as much money as they can.
