Before audiences see Glen Powell charming his way through danger in 'Hit Man', they might recognize him from his past roles as 'Hangman' from 'Top Gun: Maverick' or the charismatic charmer in rom-com hits. But this May, Powell sheds his leading-man persona to become Gary Johnson, a man leading a double life in 'Hit Man'.

By day, Gary is a mild-mannered college professor, likely teaching philosophy or psychology based on his glasses and unassuming attire. He might be a tech whiz in his spare time, tinkering with gadgets and keeping up with the latest tech trends. However, Gary's true calling takes a surprising turn when he's recruited for a daring undercover operation.

His background in tech might be a perfect fit for the undercover world, but nothing could prepare him for the gritty reality of posing as a 'Hit Man'. Gary must shed his academic skin and transform into a hardened criminal, navigating the dangerous world of assassins with a mix of wit and improvisation.
