LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'Chupa' is a mythical adventure film helmed by Jonas Cuaron. The movie will premiere on Netflix and has a run time of 1 hour and 38 minutes. Netflix said that the film would be released in early 2023. It was later announced in March that the movie will release on Friday, April 7, 2023.
'Chupa' follows Alex, a young boy from Kansas City, who visits his grandparent in Mexico. While investigating his grandpa Chava's farm, he comes upon a baby chupacabra named Chupa. Soon after, Alex and his new furry friend have whisked away on an exciting adventure in which they must dodge scientists who wish to use Chupa to further their own ends, according to the official synopsis.

Who stars in ‘Chupa’?
The star cast of ‘Chupa’ includes Evan Whitten as Alex, Demian Bichir as Chava, and Christian Slater as Richard Quinn, the scientist on the quest for Chupa. Memo and Luna, Alex's cousins, are played by Nickolas Verdugo and Ashley Ciarra, respectively.
