'Chupa' on Netflix: Release date and how to watch fantasy adventure film
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Netflix is releasing a new heartfelt drama titled ‘Chupa’. Wondering what is ‘Chupa?’ It is derived from the word ‘chupacabras’, a mystical creature first spotted in Puerto Rico in the early 1990s. Following this, glimpses of chupacabra were reported throughout Latin America. Filmmaker Jonás Cuarón discusses the myth's history, stating that it was thought this animal survived on goat blood. Contrary to all the scary facts, 'Chupa's title character isn't quite as terrifying.
The movie stars Demián Bichir, Christian Slater, Evan Whitten, Ashley Ciarra, and Nickolas Verdugo and they play major parts in the film. The action-adventure movie is directed by Jonás Cuarón. The trailer was released on March 14, 2023, on YouTube by Netflix's official channel.
