Who is Ryleigh Modig? Here's why 'The Voice' fans love 18-year-old singer's 'Kelly I'm gay' statement
Ryleigh Modig from Spencer, Massachusetts, is all set to bring her brand of cool to Season 20 of 'The Voice'. It seems that she already knows a thing or two about creating a hit song. In 2019, So Far Sounds Worcester featured Ryleigh performing an original song called 'Airborne'. That video now has more than one million views. Like many other contestants on the show, 18-year-old Ryleigh has been singing since she was quite young and when she was 14, she won the local TV station 'New Voices Award'.
Till date, Ryleigh's only official release is a single called 'Statue', which was out in December 2019. Ryleigh is also known for her unique covers of songs by artists such as Amy Winehouse, Stevie Nicks, Billie Eilish and Kings of Leon.
