Who is Milo Yiannopoulos's husband? Activist says he's 'ex-gay' and 'sodomy free' after 3 years of marriage

Gay activist Milo Yiannopoulos sparked outrage after he described himself as “ex-gay” and “sodomy free”. He also revealed that he is leading a daily consecration to St Joseph online. In a series of shocking revelations, he also said that his husband is now just his "housemate".

In an interview with the religious site LifeSite News, he claimed that he’s “ex-gay”. “When I used to kid that I only became gay to torment my mother, I wasn’t entirely joking,” Yiannopoulus says. “Of course, I was never wholly at home in the gay lifestyle — Who is? Who could be? — and only leaned heavily into it in public because it drove liberals crazy to see a handsome, charismatic, intelligent gay man riotously celebrating conservative principles.” Talking about his live-in partner, he said, "Well, the guy I live with has been demoted to housemate, which hasn’t been easy for either of us. It helps that I can still just about afford to keep him in Givenchy and a new Porsche every year. Could be worse for him, I guess."

He further told the outlet, "Anyone who’s read me closely over the past decade must surely have seen this coming. I wasn’t shy about dropping hints. In my New York Times-bestselling book Dangerous, I heavily hinted I might be “coming out” as straight in the future. And in my recent stream-of-consciousness Telegram feed, I’ve been even more explicit — stomach-churningly so, if the comments under my “x days without sodomy” posts are anything to go by. I’ve always thought of myself as a Jack Bauer sort of figure — the guy who does the hideous, inexcusable things no one else can stomach, without which the Republic will fall. I know that means my name will always be cursed, and I’ll always be a scorned outsider, so the temptation is to throw out any consideration of living well or truthfully. But even Jack Bauer has to confront his maker sooner or later."

As soon as his statement came to light, people wanted to know who is he dating. Reports suggest that Yiannopoulos had been in a long dating relationship with his boyfriend, whose identity had not been revealed. He married his boyfriend on September 30, 2017. Yiannopoulos has now claimed that he has turned his husband into a housemate.

Even though the name of his husband is not revealed, Yiannopoulos often addresses the love of his life as "John" but refuses to reveal his full name or face to the world. Milo does mention that his husband possesses Black ethnicity. However, the affair shocked the world as Milo is unabashedly homophobic, racist and Islamophobic even though he is openly gay and is married to an African-American man, who practices Islam.

In 2018, Yiannopoulos reportedly used PayPal to send $14.88, a number that refers to well-known White supremacist and neo-Nazi rallying cries, to a Jewish journalist, Talia Lavin, in order to troll her.

When his statements about his new sexuality came to light, people started talking about it. One Internet user said: "2 hilarious possibilities from this revelation: (1) His husband leaves his ass & tells everyone the dirt on their secretive shitty relationship. Or (2) The rumors that his wedding was fake & his marriage was an elaborate sham for attention turn out to be true." While another one joked: "apparently milo y is now calling himself "ex-gay" translation: "I'm gay but I'm surrounded by homophobes so I'm gonna pretend I'm "cured" so I can still be loved by said homophobes in my immediate circle."

While another one slammed him and said: "What about that black guy that Milo paid to pretend to be his husband. Does he know that he's out of a gig yet?" While another one wrote: "Milo's 'housemate' is, legally speaking, as I recall, his husband. The financial aspect of their relationship, in addition to the 'housemate' stuff is ... well ... weird, but even weirder is that Milo is Jewish, yet he now is devoting his life to St Joseph. This is batshit."

Some even supported his decision and said: "He mentions they still live as roommates (I think it’s his husband to whom he refers.) I know it’s easy to be skeptical of someone as brazen as Milo, but I’ve always had a soft spot for him & pray that his attempt to turn away from sin is genuine. All are souls worthy of  "
