Who is William Sumner? Sarah Dreyer's petition against neighbor was dismissed before she went missing
RIVERVIEW, FLORIDA: The death of Sarah Dreyer, whose body was found days after mysteriously going missing, has shocked the nation. The 38-year-old mother went missing on the morning of April 10 after returning home from dropping her children at a private school. Later that day, she left her home and headed to the Bell Creek Nature Preserve in Riverview, Florida.
Dreyer, who was battling depression due to a recent job loss, was last seen on a ring camera at around 02.01 pm. In the footage, she was seen walking alone, with just a phone in her hand. She had reportedly left a note that her husband discovered when he arrived at their empty home in the 11000 block of Donneymoor Drive in Riverview. A massive search was launched to locate Sarah but no information came out. Later on April 20, a volunteer search team called Sunshine State Sonar confirmed on social media that the mother has been found dead.

Sarah Dreyer filed a petition against neighbor
Following Sarah’s death, investigative reporter Jonathan Lee Riches revealed on Twitter that the mother had some issues with her neighbor Stephanie Sumner. She had even filed a petition against her but it was rejected by a judge on the morning she went missing. The petition was apparently regarding a dog issue. Riches also noted that while searching for Sarah, he was confronted by Sumner’s husband, William Sumner, who has a history of criminal charges. As per the reporter, William was arrested by Polk County Sheriff's in 2012 for soliciting a prostitute. He also has disorderly conduct and breach of peace charges.

“Morning of 4/10, before Sarah went missing Judge, denied a petition she filed against Stephanie Sumner regarding a dog issue. Sarah then vanished that same afternoon. What's going on here?” Riches wrote in a tweet. Riches also posted a video of the incident on YouTube where he was seen arguing with William. His claims have since garnered immense social media attention, with a user saying, “I think maybe after the way her husband just got all up in your face as they are recovering a body so close to their house! Almost like they have something to hide and then they lied to the police saying they asked you nicely tsk tsk.”

'Her father knew the outcome'
While authorities are still investigating the circumstances around Sarah’s death, it was reported that she has been battling depression for a while now. “Sarah Dreyer had been battling depression for a while, a recent job loss worsened her condition before she wrote a note and walked into the preserve. Her father knew the outcome, it’s why boots were needed as opposed to media. I hope her children, siblings, and family heal,” one user wrote on Twitter.
