LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: A world-champion trick-shot pool player has just expanded his list of Guinness World Records accomplishments. Florian "Venom" Kohler (born July 10, 1988, in France), a prospective candidate on Season 19 of 'America's Got Talent', set a new world record by sinking the most pool trick shots in a 48-hour period—1,816—earning him his 12th title.

It was the "most difficult" thing he had ever done, he added. The notion of the most pool trick shots in 48 hours came easily to Venom, who always entertained the idea of pushing the boundaries even further after setting a very successful 24-hour world record at COVID.

Venom had no idea how hard it would be to really finish this challenge. Venom only had four hours of rest time split over two full days, as is the case with all marathon record attempts, with five minutes of rest allowed for every hour of action.

He could try up to 120 authorized trick shots, and he could try each one three times before he had to go on. He also had to start over at the beginning and keep trying till the 48 hours were up after trying all 120.

The main problem he had was a chronic backache from stooping over the table to get the balls after each shot. At about hour eighteen, he began experiencing lower back discomfort, and by hour eighteen, someone had to pick up a back brace so he could finish.

And around 32 hours in, fatigue really began to set in. After that, it became a true mental and physical struggle.

Venom's stroke made his legs weaker, and in addition to lower back discomfort, he also began to experience blisters, burns on his fingertips, shoulder aches, and neck agony.

Venom left for a one-hour snooze at that time and returned with nine hours remaining on her clock. He utilized more than five thousand balls, traveled five kilometers around the table, made 2,445 shots, and made 1,816 of them land.

Venom also shattered his own records for the most pool tricks performed in a 24-hour period (moving from 753 to 1,185) and the most tricks performed in an hour (growing from 58 to 69).

He made all three tries at the same time on January 19 and 21. After almost a decade of residency in the United States, Venom made his record attempts in the League Room in West Virginia, which he called the "perfect location."

In addition, he streamed his record attempts live, which are available for viewing on his one million-subscriber YouTube channel.

'AGT' Season 19 contestant Venom Trickshots is a Vegas trick-shot pool phenomenon

The rules of physics may be bent by venom on pool balls. He describes himself as a trick-shot performer, and in Las Vegas, where he resides, audiences are drawn to his act.

Venom, 35, has made a profession out of his love of pool since he was 18 years old. He is a world champion in his field and a professional pool trick-shot artist.

Together with his spouse, he manages APA Las Vegas, the biggest pool league in Nevada. Venom has perfected the skill of the trick shot, even though he started playing the sport years after many of the pros, who were often as young as three or four years old.

On his eighteenth birthday, he was given a small pool table and began studying videos online to master trick shots. He soon started making his own, and two years later he was competing against pros who had been playing for longer than he had been alive in trick-shot tournaments.

Venom, together with his 12-year-old daughter Chrissy and wife Iana, currently reside in Las Vegas, USA.

Venom acknowledges that choosing a favorite trick shot is a "very tough question." He said, "But if I had to choose just one, it would be the Satellite Masse, where you use three rails to curve a ball around an obstacle."

And the one who draws the greatest applause from the assembly? Yes, the one Venom refers to as the Nutcracker.

He shoots a cue ball straight into the shoe that someone has placed between their legs.
