FLORIDA, CALIFORNIA: Steve Spitz, featured on 'Love on the Spectrum', Season 1, stands out as someone who received an autism diagnosis later in life, unlike his counterparts on the show. Having traversed 63 years of life solo, Steve refused to let his late diagnosis hinder his quest for a life partner. With determination and the support of his reliable assistant, Steve ventured into the world of online dating.

While not particularly active on social media, Steve took the help of his assistant to set up online dating profiles. Despite making matches, the pursuit of love proved challenging as he struggled to connect with anyone.

In his last appearance on the series, Steve remained resolute in his determination to find that special someone, as he navigated the online dating scene. But fate had different plans as he was left single, without any connections, which also made his fans disappointed.

However, in the new season, Steve is still on the quest for love, exploring potential connections through some initial feelers and engaging in online chats, though nothing substantial has developed so far for him.

Steve expresses hope and optimism, eagerly anticipating the possibility of meeting someone truly meant for him on this ongoing journey to find companionship in the second season of the show.

While participating in the show, Steve ventured on a date, but unfortunately, a lasting relationship did not materialize from that encounter.

Steve embarked on a series of dates with two women in the first season, Connie and Candida, but unfortunately, the connections didn't flourish. Despite his buddies being excited about his first-time dating experience, Steve didn't find the compatibility he sought with either of them.

Candida was perceived as possibly having autism, but not Connie. Despite their unique qualities, Steve felt he couldn't establish a meaningful connection with either woman and decided not to pursue a third date with either of them.

This decision had a profound impact on Connie, who took the rejection to heart, facing the emotional aftermath of Steve's choice not to continue their romantic journey, more than Candida.

Steve's father is Harold Spitz, a renowned magazine publisher, who also served in the US Army. In a heartwarming revelation during an episode, Steve expressed the close bond he shares with his father.

While the show didn't delve deeply into Steve's family life, it's known that his family, particularly his father was very successful. Harold Spitz initiated the well-known journal Guest Informer, as documented in an SFGATE article.

Harold, having enlisted in the army during World War II, joined the newspaper and steadily climbed the ranks, eventually becoming the publisher in 1962. Remarkably, he dedicated 58 years of his life to the publication, contributing significantly to its success.
